Sorry, Nige. I thought you had out of date chicken in the fridge!!

    Freezing stuff is great.

There is some code or something about how long stuff should be frozen. But i only have a little freezer. So it is emptied pretty quickly.

I still have two slices of black pudding, two slices of haggis, three sausages and two slices of potato bread left from my hols in August. I'm a bit worried about the black pudding, not being good.

    I'm very finicky about food.

As long as you and yours are still alive, that's what counts.

BTW I;m kinda getting into this rubbery stuff , had a tin of ravioli + 4 fish fingers I found on the floor of the freezer last night , it was quick + easy to cook and rather delicious after a long day at work , lorry broke down twice , centre bearing seized on prop , fixed it then the bearing carrier snapped ,, caused chaos I did in Colchester yesterday lol

It sounds like the culinary equivalent of pinning the tail on the donkey was taking place in your kitchen

Are you sure ? When one is reduced to eating the detritus on the floor of the freezer, is compelled to buy the oldest products in the supermarket, and one's quest in life is to find a recipe for making a nourishing meal out of earthworms, death may be a blessing

Get off my back you little creep !

Your standard of behaviour is clearly different to mine but if ladyboys "float your boat" so be it. With a name like Betty it shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody.

Your choices are what's being questioned; you do know what is all around your family hotel, don't you: ladyboys, whores, mongers, drunks, 24/7, right in your hotel where they have a famous whore pickup club, etc.

Please post some pictures of the food there...

    Lovely, Dilly!
But would have been more practical to serve the salad in a separate receptacle.

Cutting board enacted as a plate, chips in a mini-bucket......how rustically avant-garde.

    Cheers. 8/10

So steak is the theme. These shots are 7 weeks old now. When I was home getting the daughter into uni I spent a nice weekend up in Sonoma county Ca. Went to an old fashioned butcher shop and got some flank steaks. Barbecued them up then sliced on the diagonal.

Considering he was likely legless, we should probably just call him Bob!

What i do with a tin of ravioli, is i heat it up very so slowly in a frying pan.

I add lots of grated cheese, a great bit nob of butter. and a bit of creme fraiche.

How sexy is that!!! and edible.

I do a mean carbonara, from scratch. But it is always good to have a tin of ravioli in the cupboard. for when there is a blizzard. And 20 degree minus with wind factor.

Blew me hat off, and froze me tears. I have never, and never want to, live a Winter like that. Funny thing, it was sunny some of the days.

You could save an extra few pence electric, Nige, no need to put it in the freezer.

^ Sit it in the sun on the window sill for a few hours to warm it up. Another penny saved!
