the wife and I had BBQ'd intestine at a restaurant here...it wasn't bad at all. I'd give it a ranking as "tasty and would eat again if someone else was buying" rating.

^ I've had goat, pig and cow intestines a few times at various places. It's the texture that puts me off, but I'll inevitably give them another go after a few bevvies.

As an aside, at a Chinese New Year gathering, I was once given the supposed prize cut: the ear.
