Tonight i managed to secure a tray off reduced price five pork chops for £1.29!
A tin of baked beans for 25p!
I pushed the boat out and splashed out 99p on a bag off Aunt Bessies chips.

total cost £2.53 divided by 4 = 62 pence each

I had two....

However £1 for a tin of Princess chicken in white sauce in a tin

Fresh veg from the garden , nice cheap hot plateful , hit the spot !

as for poor people , I would never judge anyone I have never met to be poor or well healed ,, all I can say is the two posters on this thread who I have actually met I would in no way describe them as poor , as for myself as someone who owns more than one property 100% have absolutely NO debt of any kind a bloody good lump invested and holiday abroad 3 - 4 times per year and don't need to work anymore ,,,, well if thats poor in your eyes , you have led a very shallow life , but then that would explain a lot of your churlish behaviour

You could have a mug off mulled wine, fook that.

Out comes the bottle of Remy Martin champagne cognac!
After making a song and dance opening the bottle and discreetly wiping the dust from it, i got my lead cyrstal glass full of cognac.

The only way most people get wealthy is through being careful.
As for rich and poor, that's best defined by ones friends and family.

Just asked my missus how much did she think it cost, she went with 300 baht, then dropped to 200 because bacon's burnt
