They went to Australia, thinking the games is in the bag & then the team was not read for a fight.
When they got the fight, then they could not mentally get control of the game.
I is good to have the cricket grond full for 5 days not 3 days.![]()

Nah....we gotta take what's coming to us..... keep going boys.... see if you can make us cry....
^ Thats the spirit Bobcock.
Show the johnny come lately poms the true Briton grit.
Bished, bashed and quite rightly thrashed. 5-0 and all of them a right good hiding. Here are a few pics from the final day.
At the start of play, England's James Anderson greets the former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath and receives a pink cap to mark Jane McGrath Day, which is being held in memory of Glenn's wife, who died in 2008
Rogers eventually departs to leave Australia on 255-8. Ryan Harris and Peter Siddle are skittled in quick succession as the hosts finish on 276 all out. So England need just the small matter of 448 to win. The question is not so much if they'll lose, but when and by how much?
Cook gone
Ian Bell doesn't last long. He scores 16 runs before being caught at gully. England are 37-2
Bizarrely, Michael Carberry's bat is broken by an innocuous delivery from Ryan Harris. It says it all really – even England's equipment can't stand up to the onslaught
Australia's George Bailey takes a catch off the bowling of Ryan Harris to dismiss Kevin Pietersen for six, leaving England on 57-3
Carberry falls with England on 87, then Gary Ballance (pictured) is out lbw to Johnson for just seven runs. Moments later, Bairstow is caught by Bailey for a duck and Borthwick is caught by Clarke for four. That flurry of wickets (four for eight runs) has put England on the edge of defeat. They are now seven down for 95
Ben Stokes offers some late resistance, scoring 32 off 16 balls, before dragging onto his own stumps
When Broad and Rankin are polished off in quick succession, the victory is complete
Mitchell Johnson is named player of the series, having taken 37 wickets in total. Fittingly he took three on the final day as he tormented England right to the last. What an embarrassing tour it's been for the visitors
Why has one of the Australians got his pants down in the last but one pic?
That is seriously fucking gay.....
Pissing on the pitch.?
I missed it all yesterday flying home. I was hoping to watch a couple of sessions if not a day of cricket today. Weak bastards!
Fortunately I have been in the UK during the whole series and only witnessed 4 live sessions. God be praised!![]()

A few questions the Poms have to ask themselves...........
1. Why wasn't Stokes in the original touring party?
In my opinion has great potential to become a super all-rounder and surely must have displayed this potential before the squad was picked.
2. Why wasn't Trott's mental state attended to before he left to go on tour?
Another English player leaves the tour claiming stress related sickness as the reason for his return home. Professional sport is such a mind game and being mentally fit is most important and the difference between winning a losing.
3. Cook is certainly not the captain they need and this fact was evident from the first test. Most sessions when the English were fielding it was clearly evident that other players were running the show and Cook was a back seat traveler.
Regardless, why wasn't he given the power to run the ship and why were the other players told to shut the fuck up?
4. Why wasn't Bell selected at number 3 batsman?
Clearly the most consistent England batsman and more often then not put under extreme pressure when coming in at number 4 or 5.
5. Why was Swan selected to go on tour when most knew he was mentally and physically unfit to complete the tour?
Well that is the excuse he gave the press when he ran home or maybe he couldn't take the hiding that was being handed out.
6. Why wasn't Onions selected to go on tour?
A good honest bowler who would have been a perfect back-up for Anderson and the grunt.
7. Why was Prior dropped for the other bloke who failed?
I reckon he was booted because of his interference with the on field decision making. If that is the case Pieterson should have been dropped as well.
There does appear to be some dissention in the squad and I suspect this occurred during the tour matches.
In the first test Trott clearly wasn't a happy teddy bear and Swann quickly followed. No point in hanging around if you're not enjoying the game and can't change matters. It's a long tour and better to be where you prefer especially during the festive season.
In the interest of English cricket I think we will witness Cook replaced as captain. Who will take his place i'm not sure but the leadership simply isn't there atm.
