^ It seems to be lacking a single hard (very hard!) boiled egg and rooster sauce. Whatever rooster sauce is.
Hi PP. I did say I didn't do everything at once and did it in batches. But I'm still learning.
Thanks! Will look for the bean sprouts and other ideas at the Oriental Market. Could be a month or two though before that actually happens. That's about how long it took to get the wok.
Or I could just go to Ru Yi for a 'fry.![]()
^^ Aussie Chianti ?
Looking at the colour it looks like a Cab-Sav blend.
If I can be honest, it looks old, washed out ... most likely not stored properly (not by you).
Looking @ the glass, the tailings (above the wine level ... as it clings to the glass) look smokey, pale and like the red has been mixed with grey.
The tannins are probably diminished, but not matured and add nothing to the after-taste, the wine memory.
But I know shite... Lulu, pass the goon bag (bladder of the cask)
BTW 'Aussie Chianti' was a jest, just picking up on your Italian theme.
Out there.
Somewhere.
There's a dog missing an arsecheek.

Light Italian dinner for me tonight..
Just a slice of pizza
For an appetiser
Followed by a little tenderloin with berries and a gorgonzola sauce
Leave a da gun and take a da canolli
And washed down with a few homemade limoncellos
Bellusimo
You two are almost taking the edge off my Friday curry, almost.
^ Dill, that does look good.
Never heard of a limoncello. Looked at the recipe ... have to try making that.
Oh, me and the kids had sausages, peas and carrots. For desert ... yogurt and apple ... I had a few more beers![]()

^ Is that a ketchup splodge or rooster sauce?
