Found a real nice place today for Dinner. The Padthai.

Miss fish went for the papaya salad.

Very nice fish

Forgot what this type of fish was. It's not talapia. Said to be imported from Thailand.
The place was JBs hotel and restaurant.

The place was spotless. I'd have taken some pics of the Hong nam but I'd have felt kinda silly going back for my phone once in the place.

Saw a 1250cc Harley in the courtyard along with a wild Ducati. The place is new and will have a mini mall of sorts on the grounds when completed.

That looks v nice but i always worry about places that invest more time in the plate decoration than the meal you've ordered - apologies its just me.

About 24usd. Like I said not cheep in the average Lao persons terms. That included drinks. The place is real nice and clean. I'd give them that.

I'm on the rooftop at the Pakse Hotel. Staying the night tonight. The Long Island Iced Teas I've been having are 60,000 kip each or about 7 bucks. But hell, they are working and I watched them make the first one as I was sceptical to say the least. Sure enough all top rail. Hell, I may end up liking this place yet. I've a gecko shot in view.
Let's see if I can sneek up on them.
