throw it in the oven for a bit with some sauce and I'm sure it would be fine. Get some nice bread and make a sandwich or two from the meat.

    ^ NICE!

Great photography, could you please help Mendip out a little?

Mendip, what was the recipe you used for salmon cakes? I've got a friend going to Siamburi's in Pattaya and I'm thinking of getting a bunch of cheap salmon to make cakes out of, then freeze the cakes for future usage.

And btw, I'm having lamb chops again tonight, with a knife and fork, which will taste great.

Really don't want to risk the mockery of a photograph.

If anyone around Bangkok is interested in ribs, then here are 2 of Bogon's Tips (#583 and #584)

There is a place in the Airport Runway market on Rom Klao road that sells great BBQ Ribs by the metre! I nornally have 1/4 metre for 199 baht, which I have never finished in 1 sitting. Think the whole metre sets you back aorund 700 baht.

On the weekend, Tenderloins on Pattanakarn road has an unlimited BBQ buffet from 12 'till 5. Ribs, (that taste a bit weird with some kind of curry flavour), wagu Ozzie steak, burgers, sausages, kebabs, salad, pizza (whole) and a few other dishes for 300 baht (kids 100). The clincher is that Guinness is BOGOF for 280 baht.
    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

Could go a metre of ribs about now.

Is there much meat on them or are they mostly bone?

    Any pics?

Loads of meat and BBQ sauce cooked on coals.

They give you gloves to wear so you don't make a mess, and the meat comes straight off the bone.

A colourful lunch prepared by M'Sahib. Stir fried yellow noodles with chicken and assorted vegetables.

Mashed potato with some mashed carrot (also known as substitute neeps). I add the carrot as a way of getting veg into my daughter by stealth. Add an egg or two and a good portion of tinned salmon. Then roll in breadcrumbs!
