Well it wouldn't fit on your BBQ for a start.

Chitty how long had the rice been cooked before it went in the pan, by the way it's clumped together it looks like it was not long? The trick to fried rice not sticking together in wet blobs is for it to have had at least 1 day in the fridge after being cooked, works for me anyway.

Definitely better to use day-old rice.

Fried rice needs sesame oil, imho.

    1) Have you ever put any up on this thread?

If so it must have been years ago, as I don't recall any.

    2) It's only other posters who say I've retired.

    3) What kind of simpleton needs a photo of sesame oil and sesame seeds?

Whole roast onions are great - amazing sweetness.

I'll pass on whole bulbs of garlic.

Looks delish DW. I agree whole onions are great. Drizzle of olive oil. The garlic would have my wife and dogs wanting to spend the night away.

I guess that's why mint sauce pairs well with lamb.

I got no problems with whole onions or garlic breath.

We went for Japanese food tonight. The restaurant is called Hat Yai Sashimi and they have a few restaurants in Skl and HDY.

    Pretty good.

    That looks damn reasonable Dirk.

Steak, chips and a side order of baked beans.

On the subject of beans, I'm pleased to say that my Spanish made baked beans were the business! Not at all sweet and nice and tomatoey, so I went back and bought 6 more tins yesterday.

    No more HP though.

That was your dinner? Were you trying to compete with Chitty?

It's a big ask if you're gonna try and compete with beans and cheese on toast (with HP too).
