    ^^wtf is incorrect?

You're 'correcting' someone on a minute or non-existent detail and... I'm the pedant?

It is not incorrect, you moron.

The two initial chosen by Tim are a tribute to The Dukes Of Hazzard's JD Hogg.
Jefferson Davis Hogg – played by actor Sorrell Booke – was the greedy, corrupt county commissioner in the US TV series, which ran for six years from 1979.
Wetherspoon founder Tim Martin was a fan and when he was looking to open his first pub, in North London, in 1979, he chose the character's initials to kick off the name.
    Who was JD Wetherspoon?

You could properly get on it with all the other piss heads and scoff burger and chips all day.
More atmosphere than your usual gay bear hat bar
    You'd love it!

Sometimes it briefly escapes my mind but it never takes long for me to suddenly remember that.

I love a Wetherspoons unsurprisingly. What's not to love about cheap food, cheap beer and student barstaff?

A spoons is a place to meet up for the night out. You shouldn't be having the whole night out there..

Apparently you can order direct to your table now via an app. Which seems mental.

So, you're moving swiftly on from your cretinous 'correction' then.

    A wise move.

I once sent a portion of mushy peas to a random persons table for the hell of it.
    Gave us a giggle.

And before the peanut gallery start swinging between branches with excitement, I've never been there but really should as the Manager is a friend who moved there after Covid killed the sports pub he'd been at for many years.
