I am repulsed and appalled at that Aldi microwave lamb shank that exploded in the microwave tonight!
    Never again!
I fear I may have to purchase a new microwave because the smell and devastation was so bad.
Served with air fried roasted spuds and mushrooms and some lumpy gravy.
It was one of my worst disasters, even worst than my Spanish Tortilla and Squidgate!!!

Even the dog wouldn't eat it no pics I'm afraid.

    Roast beef melt...

    Dinner-253njxr-jpg

It was massive and made two meals. The place makes their roast beef in house and it is incredible.

Good old American bigness. Looks great with the au jus to dip. Are those almost overdone oven baked tater tots? They dont look deep fried.

Yeah thats the good Ole American Gut Bomb. Love it. They hang around for a few days.

I will be back in California for a month. Will definitely eat a few of those deals, plus hotlinks and other assorted artery plugging foods.

I’d smash that, well perhaps half of that. I’d keep the other half for lunch the next day.

Yes they were baked, the place has no deep fryer.

That's what I did. Heated the other half up in the toaster oven the next day.

One of the things I miss the most about the US
If things work out the way I hope would, I should be coming back to the US in October to liquidate a property, and one of the first things I get while there would be a good roast beef sandwich.

^But also kinda looks nothing like any ribeye I've ever seen, or any other cut of meat that someone paid for. Chitty I'll ask again, can you please post a pic of these steaks you're calling striploin or ribeye while they're in the butchers windows or supermarket packaging?

^I'd be ok with the mash/gravy side but I wouldn't be ok with some bastard selling me ribeye that wasn't ribeye.

I think it's pretty clear by now that when Chitty says he's eating rib eye he is reallly eating 'rib eye'...

Makes me wonder what "grade" of beef is Chitty buying?
