Working in central London sucks - I prefer Croydon; bold statement yes, but it's out there.

Just flopped through the door and it's all I can do to open the fucking fridge.

Dominos are about to receive a telephone call.

Oh dear, the quality of this thread is going downhill quickly, with desperate Brits posting pics of so-called "food".

I have to agree. We had a meal tonight - Prik Moo Daeng, red pork ( brilliant ), somtam (made with swede instead of pappaya ), sticky rice, boiled rice, chicken livers and some fishy noodles thingy but we ate it. No pics, forgot to take them.

I hate the fishy thing, very smelly it is, creamy orange in colour and served with a tump of Kanom Jeen. But, the rest liked it. Funny people these Thais. How can any human being eat smelly fish ?

I would never eat out of date chicken. or beef or pork or lamb or horse or fish or anything.

Just bin it and eat healthy. Another chicken leg within the dates is better than being ill. Whatever the price.

I do buy half price stuff on a Saturday afternoon. The sell by date is that day or the Sunday. Straight into the freezer. If i am not going to eat it straight away.

Nigel, why eat out of date chicken. Are you so fucking poor.

You cannot be. Sorry, but that is serious and sad. Even i, on benefits can eat better than you-

Oh and i got some black puddin out of the freezer last night and ate that with some champ. Total price - two quid or less.

It was only out of date because I bought it and froze it like you do on the day of purchase , sold to me on its sell by date at a reduced price .

BTW , I repeat what I have said before I have never been ill on food , also the missus is hardcore Issan , don't forget she was weaned on fish sauce from the bottle

    Basically same as a meat pie, but substitute the filling;

    a chicken minced curry.

    or

    diced chicken and corn

    or

    diced chicken and asparagus.

brown the chicken in a pan add veggies, add sauce, fill into a pie.

    etc.

    experiment.

use a little corn flour with chicken stock for thickening the sauce.

I've been observing this forever, yet common cultural accolades allow themselves to slobber over one another regarding their [and cousin cookery] "civilised and ranking" cuisines......which is almost always homogenous and putrid.

Yeah, but you're slim already. For us fat fukers, it might taste nice or it might give us a dose of food poisoning so we can lose half a stone or so, a win win raffle...

Tommorow nights dish lined up ,, bit cheaper than in Italy and I done have to wear a suit or sit down to eat it after 10pm

65p for that little beauty then I have a decent size lump of Morrisons cheddar , been in there about a month or so , gonna scrape the mould off around the rind then I will make a tasty full strength cheese sauce to accompany the rubbery bits .

All in all £1 for two people's dinner

Take a look at the bottom right hand corner triple C mate ,,, see that little blue icy thingy ?

Suitable for freezing , and it was on the day of purchase , defrosted in the fridge no probs .

Absolutely delicious it was 2 clean plates

Anyway I am hardcore Issan mate ,, if you can eat that shitty half thawed / frozen chicken from the local Tesco Express like I do and still be standing a bit of out of date Italian rubber aint gonna hurt
