Last time i had fish fingers and french fries with tomato sauce was on an afternoon flight Hat Yai to Bangkok.
That was back in the day when Thai Airways must have had some spare money used to give out boiled sweets before take off as well.
Odd chioce of inflight meal for such a short flight.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!

Those sausages don't look warmed up at all, there's something cold & dead looking about them

Yes, but you are lucky living in Thailand because you have lots of butterflies. Bloody snowing where I am now.

I cannot get out of my yard, snowed in. The temperature is - 1 at 10.00 am. The town in the valley below has no snow at all and people down there do not believe we cannot move. I am at an altitude of 1150 feet.

I am having home cooked Indian curry for lunch. Horse racing and soccer on the box. Bollocks to the people in the town ! They are down there, I am up here and that's the way I like it.

Hmmmmm. what to rustle up tonight

Spring greens, potato gratin, rump steak, tenderised slightly & seasoned with black pepper & a little garlic salt, left at room temperature for several hours. Gravy & onions

Ended up substituting the gratins with low fat oven chips

I like my steak cooked about 2 minutes after its medium rare.. as smooth & soft as ice cream

    Dessert

Cyprus potatoes are the best I've tasted. Great texture.

Try this: When you parboil before roasting, add 2 halves of squeezed/softened lemons to the water, then when you've roasted the taste is excellent.

Sunday roast, the remnants of roast turkey & cauliflower cheese

The steak looks lovely, but why do people choose to use Bisto when it's so easy and much better to make your own sauce/gravy?

I usually do the stock/meat juices/cornflour thing and I should have, as I'd fried the steak & onions in the pan...you got a point!!

That Bisto onion gravy is very good though

Great stuff, nice big steak, I'm a sucker for good broccoli, well any green veg* I'm deliberately eating extra veggies at present as I'm getting in shape for the beach next month.

    *not sprouts or kale

BTW we bought our elecric pan / grill bbq thingy from Home Pro some time ago , it went in my suitcase , cost us £10

One of my mates here bought his Thai missus one in the UK cost him £67 , so if you really do want one back in the UK and you can get it in your case , its well worth it
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

Annoying people say to me ''why do you do all that cooking when you live alone? Why not just get a meal for one at Tesco?''

Erm, because I'm a fussy bastard and like to know what I'm eating, and if it's ok with you, I like to stay healthy.

Many think that those micro meals are on a par with the properly made versions, as the picture on the pack depicts, where really the huge numbers of additives scare the hell out of me. Neither are they that cheap. Ok you can buy a 99p micro lasagne in tesco but you'd do better eating a pile of soiled cat litter.
Most have no nutritional value whatsoever.

Frozen veg is usually frozen within a few hours of being picked,(the decent brands anyway) so can be as good as the real thing. If I can't be bothered I'll use the frozen spinach, cabbage, red cabbage, peas, broccoli etc etc
But I'll always have a freshly made slab of meat or fish and rice or potatoes.
