The house is still for sale but things are beginning to move down here. My cousin's mother in law has just sold a similar property and there is hope. Some decent weather would help as people don't think of buying a new home when it is pissing down continuously.

We have ripped out all the carpets and the bungalow will be tiled throughout before the end of January. We have done this to make the property look better but also for our own benefit while we continue to live here.

With luck I will be living in Isaan before Christmas. We are currently interested in three properties, one of which we viewed six weeks ago.

If you look at the thread dealing with the Surinfarang forum you will see that I am less inclined to build my own house now.
