I done a similar thing tonight minus the lobsters. Used spaghetti, some spiral pasta to use it up. A tub of store bought carbonate sauce sauteed some onions and mushrooms and baked 4 chicken kievs also store bought. That seemed to do the job.kids were grinning. Yesterday I made an Irish stew using goat meat in the slow cooker. No fucker would eat it except me. i thought it was great. Lucky we always got lots of noodles in the cupboard

    It's the taste that counts.

I forget the name, but it was damn good. Kind of like a cross between a slightly wider fettuccine with crinkly edges. Took the sauce up perfectly. There’s actually a whole science about which pasta to use with which sauces, as they coat the pasta differently. Or so the eyetalians say so.

She dropped in to scrub my back while I was recreating the fiendishly cunning Battle of Salamis where the glorious Greeks routed the pestilent Persians by luring them into a naval trap in the straits between Salamis and the mainland

If you scrub my back, my dear...

Went fishing yesterday and on the way home my partner in crime decided she'd have pork ribs with sauerkraut and roasted skin-on potatoes - and I was paying for it (although I ended up with half of it anyway).

The food at this place is absolutely magic...

...and the ale is pretty good too (Valmiermuiza is a cracking pint up there with the best you'll have anywhere), so we were both well on the way when we left.

Is it mandatory to drink those pints while lying down?

Funny thing is, they don't even serve them sideways.

Take one frozen cottage pie and cook until it burns your fingers when you stick them in. Add one giant Yorkshire pudding. Expertly hand ordered from Lazada. Mix together*. Consume.

*Only half. Save some for the weekend with beans.

That meal has got to be good for me. Meat, potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire puddings can't be unhealthy otherwise we wouldn't have won two world wars.

They could have cooked the rosemary in the butter when cooking the steak but I'm just being picky
