Prachuap Khiri Khan Province is subdivided into 8 districts of which Hua Hin is the most well known, other amphoes are Bang Saphan Yai, Bang Saphan Noi, Kui Buri, Pran Buri, Sam Roi Yot and Thap Sakae.
From Bangkok you can travel to Prachuap Khiri Khan by train or bus.
Kaeo cave is situated in Sam Roi Yot National Park in the Hup Chan Valley, about 2km from the turnoff to Bang Pu village, it was discovered some 250 years ago by a monk, it is now home to bats and other creatures.
There are a lot of aquatic animals such as shrimp, fish, coral, turtle some kinds of dolphin. In addition, around Chan island and Tai Tsea island, there is some beautiful coral reef and in the ocean also found the source of sea grass e.g. phom nang grass.
Located in the west of Thai Gulf, in the territory of Kuiburi District, Sam Roi Yot Sub District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is Thailand’s first coastal National Park in 1996, covering the area of approximately 98.8 sq.km.
Kui Buri National Park is located in Amphur Pranburi, Samroiyod and Muang, Prachuap Kiri Khan province. It is the headwater, which consists of valuable natural resources and beautiful scenic. The park is 969 km2.
Namtok Huai Yang National Park is steeply mountainous on Tanao Sri mountain range at 100 - 1,200 meters above sea level. It is the watershed for many rivers which border Thai and Myanmar.

King Mongkut Memorial Park of Science and Technology at Wa Ko
This Science Park was established at Wa Ko in 1989 to commemorate King Monkut (King Rama IV), who is regarded as the Father of Thai Science Study. In 1968 the King made a trip to Wa Ko to witness an eclipse of the sun after his astronomical forecast. A science museum with many sections for youth education, an aquarium and a butterfly garden situated in the compound can be visited every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The park is located at Km.335 of Highway No. 4, about 12 kilometres from Prachuap Khiri Khan and 4 kilometres along a branch road. Butterfly Garden
Located opposite Klai Kangwon Palace, this is the first butterfly and herbal garden in Hua Hin. Surrounded by diverse local plants from all over Thailand, it features varied species of butterflies, birds, orchids, flowers and herbal plants. It opens daily from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
