Sirloin just doesn't taste the same as a Ribeye...
That doesn’t look like sirloin. Maybe skirt, maybe some floor scraps.

You've got to admire CT's never ending quest to scour the streets of Cairo in order to bring us the finest local dishes in the land.

Do they play the Allah-Snackbar caterwauling in the beans shop too?

No need to get upset. You got ripped off.

This is what a sirloin looks like. Notice the oval shape, fat along one side and the juicy little tail bit at one end? Even thickness throughout so it will cook evenly.

This is yours. Fat and gristle line through the middle. A thin flank/skirt piece folding up on the top and sides, completely different shape. Thickness varies throughout, which is why the thin edges a burnt.

Two different pieces of meat. IF you paid top dollar for sirloin, you got ripped off. If it cost £1.99 in the scraps basket due date passed then at least you got what you paid for.

That's proper British beef to be proud of.

Beans look right at home on that plate of slop.

    Same thing.

Striploin is one type of Sirloin. But you also get Top sirloin, New York strip, porterhouse and T-bone.

I am really not sure what cut that is. I am with DW, looks like a flank way over cooked. Thankfully it was thin, any thicker and he would need a chainsaw to cut it and once cut he would be chewing on it until his jaw got tired.

Me too snubs. I am browsing my supply now for a Q. I think tonight is a full Ranch chicken. My wife makes it up in a bag with spices. Tastes awesome.

I think it was my 3rd most recent food photo when I did that and have done countless times on this thread and elsewhere. One of which you sent a green for.

Whereas you, DD, now I know you live in a brothel near Thailand, but do you sometimes get to visit the country itself?

Here we go with the paragraphs. I really have got under your skin, haven't I?

I suggest an afternoon of REO Speedwagon and a delivery from the Robin Hood to calm yourself, DD, you sewer-dwelling piece of human shit.

Those noodles look greasy and stodgy as fook.

Couldn't be arsed faffing about with those shells for a tiny bit of mercury infused meat.
Whole dish needs a can of baked beans to liven it up.

Bottom picture is rump, not sirloin. Not exactly hard to work that one out.

^Rump steak with a gristle line and a pocket of fat inside? I have no idea what it is (besides being a very poorly butcher piece of mystery meat) but it's not Rump.
