Same recipe my missus has then. Except in Lao they still have to give it a French name and call it La voo , I'm working on getting the fuckers to call it Beef Stew. Last one she made I talked her into adding a teaspoon of vegemite ( I shit you not) and a spoonful of skippy peanut butter, and a splash of coconut milk she was aghast but I insisted that she would like the result. She did, even got her mum to have a taste, mum was gob smacked to. Pretty sure this dish will now be called La Voo Le BLD fookin magnificent. They will probably make it mandatory at all Lao weddings and serve it up with some crusty Aussie style bread, should make a nice change from all the Laarp they get into.

Haggis and neeps tonight!! Mon chéri!! In fact, the first time i shall be trying microwavable haggis.

It's McSweens so should be ok. The sell by date is for Saturday so i'm just on the border of it jumping out of the fridge and scurrying down the road. With that cute little limp they have.

The neeps are already cooked, so a basic 5 minute wholesome meal. With ketchup. And HP.
