Stir fried with minced ginger and served on top of fresh crunchy bean sprouts.
Tasty n somewhat healthy.![]()
Tabasco in the soy sauce, very tasty bud.
First draft deleted. CCSFan you dont have a Thai wife. That dish is on most tables in the kingdom spiced the right way. No Tabasco and no Soy. Rather use Oyster sauce and a bit of Nam pla tons of garlic and small red onions, add the chilies the Thai way. So much more tasty than a British try on a stir fry

^ that fit in with your cutlery perfectly...
So, yes, so, the Branston arrived today - big bottle! I went out and bought some bread and cheese to do the right thing.
While at the supermarket, I spotted some Korean weissbeer (probably horrible) in a set of 6 500ml cans for about 370 baht - free glass!
&, always like to pick up a bit of Aussie beef if it's available too.

NiceOB Premier Weizen 5% Sampled on the beach in Busan this morning. Pouring a cloudy gold with a thick foamy head the look is of a fairly classic Weizen. The aroma is eggy(mild sulfur), tangy, wheat and cloves. Not exciting but a decent enough aroma. The taste is watery, sugar and cloves but almost like artificial sugar or some kind of sweetening syrup. You also get some banana and wheat but that odd fake sugar sweetness detracts and turns me off. Some may like this but considering you can get actual Germsn made weizens for cheap in Korea you'd be better off passing in this sub-par brew. Better than the Dunkel though too sweet like most macros. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

^ I'd agree with that.
I'm glad there's plenty of Branston covering it! Does the job for tonight, but I'll venture further afield tomorrow and try to get some decent cheese.Originally Posted by Dillinger
Kinda, but the Branston was a long planned ebay purchase; and yes I did get roggered on the price, about 20 squids to get that here...Originally Posted by Dillinger
BTW, my drunken big ebay splash doesn't look like it's gonna arrive before the missus gets here on Monday, so I'm right royally fuked!
Made chili tonight, the pictures made the food look like something a dog with diarrhea did out on the soi....

When I get back to the UK, I'm gonna open a business selling Branston to ex-pats.
(I hope Slaps doesn't read this idea and steal it...)
I tell you what though: that cheese and Branston sandwich really hit the spot - bloody lovely...
