I would by choice go for unsmoked , however at the price these babies come up at as they are smoked I aint gonna complain , only thing is it seems to make them salty and as I do not put salt on anything I suppose its worse than for someone who uses salt

Suppose boiling in a pan for few minutes would work

Not had one for years now but when I do a gammon joint I boil first before roasting.

Looks good, around here the best they do with it is turn it into ByGaPao.

It tasted ok. Initially we went to a duck restaurant, we entered, found a table, found a staff member to clean the table, were seated, given menus, decided what we wanted to eat and then the waitre remembered to tell us that the restaurant was entirely out of duck!

I had a very nasty message with very rude words about mu gammon steak thread , so anyway the wife made me a yellow curry instead .

She is now eating the 3rd gammon so there

Tried to post our gammon effort but the pics are the wrong size,poxy fussy gallery

Well we can't grow pak choi , mooli , morning glory , etc , however those who can afford to shop at Waitrose can have those exotics imported

Practicallity and functionality come to mind

Lot of messing about but I have resized a photo

I use different setting on my camera which gives photos different file sizes

Anyway this was the Gammon meal,cooked by my wife the staff were busy.

She done sweetcorn with it which I'm not that keen on but the kids like.Normally there would be a serving of Marrowfat peas with that.
Might post that pic as well if I can speed up the resizing task
