That meal looks ok, for Thailand. I certainly wouldn't refuse it. Nice work on finding an affordable but drinkable red.
When I make jacket potatoes, I like the skin to be blackened and crispy, I eat the lot.
Willy wouldn't know what a Jersey Royal was, even if it hit him in the eye...The best potato in the world!
^Still got the apron on charleen![]()
The idea of a "best" potato might pass some, as with so many generated hybrids today the choice of said quality tubers is a matter of taste - neither right or wrong.
For a real surprise, try the untouched indigenous varieties from their origins - less the super strains that have been hybrid for particular Western fancy.
That looks nice mate ,, ^ Jan says " are you on a diet ?? ""
Come up here to Frinton mate to have your Sunday lunch with us soon before the tribe join you ,,,,, its an open invitation good train service as they say in Thailand
UP TO YOU![]()

The roast looks pretty good, but it appears to be missing condiments. Eg gravy, apple sauce and englidh mustard.

We had something similar in the Pembroke a couple of weeks back, walked out of the chinky buffa as they have priced us out of their market.
7.50 for a baby Kin hell!!!, that was the wifes words

From what you have posted here you don't get roasted meat and if you do the wife or staff can't cook it!
Can you cook it any roast meat ?
You would be laughed out of any joint if you wanted mustard with roast pork but each to their own.( you are in Jarshitter )
You have kind of shot yourself on this thread if you pipe up anywhere saying something does not go now.
What a plum or do you like a damson with a goat curry ?
Its been Thai heat here again in Costa del Frinton so a rather nice chicken salad for dinner today , I just par boiled some spuds out the garden then fried em up with cloves of garlic to flavour them a bit .
A reduced price bag of mixed salad plus a bit of additional beetroot and tomatoes from the garden.
Just one large chicken breast for 2 of us cost me £1
All in all a nice tasty meal for very little money .
