I'll post pictures in the morning if you like?

In reality, it didn't look very photogenic, but I'll try to remember to take pics tomorrow when I finish the aubergine yoghurt feta herbed-pita thingy off.

We're making some picante at the moment, so there may be some of that in there too.

^ Exactly what I had yesterday, but sour cream on the spud.
    A fine choice.

I finished off the Lebanese stuff for lunch today. Very nice it was too.

This is a usual evening meal for me, although I usually have chicken, not beef.

So, it was beef mince in a taco seasoning, a little bit of cheddar, tomato, lettuce, tortilla wraps, very low fat chunky chips (done in the oven like roast potatoes and taste spanking) and home-made picante. We use an old Salsa jar, so we have a ready made label.

    Classic Isaan lunch today:

    First come the vegetables:

    Then the sticky rice:

    Next the obligatory Larb Moo:

And a Nam Dtok for back-up:

Finally, the piece de resistance, a Tom Sap - heart, liver, stomach, intestines, the lot...

    Exceptionally tasty...

This is Dinner, lunch is somewhere else.
And all your "food" has innards in it......where did all that come from, the skip outside the butchers?

    Red sent.

    Skip? Butchers?

You city dwellers have so much to learn.

Didn't you know that Isaan lunches last until way past dinner time?

Someone needs to start doing their homework.

^ And your plates don't match.
    Another red.

All I know about Issan is that it is (apparently) populated by itinerant drunks and Fortunner driving Ex-Bar Beer Girls and their same same Brothers who go on to raise more bar beer girls.

Have a quadruple red (some of us have the power) for your lack of taste re the crockery, which obviously dates back to the Ming era.

For International Meat and Potatoes Day.

Tenderloin, minute a side in a pan then 4 minutes in a hot over with the roast taters.
Served with a better version of my Tex-Mex pepper sauce.

Tescos surprisingly. They come as individual frozen pieces from Oz. 250 baht. Not a bad bit of meat.
