My first dinner pics. A regular wednesday meal for one at home. Got a small bit of lamb. Cooked it for 2hrs slowly, had to rest it while the potatoes were in and the peas in the microwave.
Vital ingredient, man.
Roast lamb, very tender, mint sauce and roasted potaoes, with peas.
Hit the spot.
That looks good Pat , but tinned peas ?
Dont know how warm it is down there , were getting heat danger warnings up here in North Eseex so I guess its salad time here

I'm terrible with names man but I'll try to point you in the general direction of three places that sell different brands:
* There is a small farang store (sort of a mini mart type supermarket) on the right side of the road as you leave Jomtien ... Just past Theppasit road. It's called a Food Mart on Thapraya.
* Coming from beach road going towards Sukhumvit you pass Carrefour on the left ... Keepin going and a hundred yards or so there it is on the left ... Foodland I think is the name.
* The other one I remember is a butcher shop ... German owned I believe. If you start at the Dolphin Circle and head up the road past all bars it is of the left ... Start looking to your left after you crest the hill and way before it starts to go down hill again.
I'll try to see if I can google more info about the butcher place. Found it .. S.S. Sausage in Pattaya-Naklua.

I haven't bought the camera yet!! Waiting for next month's dole money!!! But the sales are on so should be able to get a cheapy one that even I can't screw up.
And then it'll probably take me about 6 months to work out how to post piccies.....

Aw little darling give her a hug from Uncle Nige^
Knocked up some chicken breasts I marinaded with some Italian spices and oil and vinegar. Only a 3 hour marinade. Did some spuds and roasted onions with onion gravy. Finished it off with a mixed lettuce salad with cucumbers. You could add your own croutons, pickled onions, and tomatoes. Myself and the kids, each breast was 230 grams so there was just enough.
