Looks good but not a proper meal.

Some dumplings and vegetable condiments added would be great including some fatty gristle.

Mabe another legendery Loy Toy thread................
I had most of them with a half pound pulled pork baguette and shouldn't need to eat for at least 3 days now.

Any plans for a pulled pork pie?

I'm sure that in the hands of LT's missus such wonders with pastry are possible.

    Good stuff.

I usually parboil first, then season and bake.

Will do it this way next time, cheers.

    ^ Me too.

First time I've tried it this way. It takes longer, but it cuts down on the messing about.

That's like 11 NZ bucks per kilo. That seems obscenely cheap for such a good product. So do you have any idea what you're paying for them down there?. It must be about 6 NZ bucks a Kilo!.
Just looking at that pic. It shows the lamb at 1680baht per kilo.

You paid 470 baht. Surely there was something wrong with the scales?

The total weight is 1.680kg, the price ราคา/ก.ก. 280thb per kg next to the date. Total price then is 470.50thb. Though unfortunately I haven't got my glasses and I'm as blind as a bat.

Not blind enough that this thread isn't killing me though, 'cause it is.

Well done chaps. And that's one ell of a good price for NZ Lamb.

Don't know, but you could bury it in the garden then pretend you found a dinosaur bone with your kid.

    Or wife.

I think I could get my wife to fall for it.

Just knocked of a vegetarian Pizza. $3.00 from Aldi. I did add a layer of monteray jack though. Topped it off with French's yellow mustard (gluten free and 100% natural). Oh the healthy life!

Off to Makro to get me some lamb. I was in there last week and I'm sure that the fookin' shanks were more per kilo!

^The lamb in my pic was bought from the Macro in Pattaya on Sukhumvit, near Underwater World. I would assume their prices are uniform country wide?. Please let us know, out of interest. If they've fucked up the pricing here I'll go back tomorrow and buy a trolley full

^^^Good on you Charlie!. I'm still going to grab a few more for the freezer at that price, honestly cannot recall what they normally cost but @ 280 a Key for NZ lamb you'd be mad not to stock up. Will cook one this week, I just stab them all over with a small sharp knife and stuff garlic cloves into them before the oven. The best part is the following day(s) cutting cold slices off the bone, sprinkling S&P, then dipping them in Hellmanns mayo. Beautiful
