Pork chop on the grill with tater and corn on cob

Proper way to use and hold a fork

Handicapped way to use a fork.

Dinner as served. Cowboys won today so only proper to use the mug.

Ain't gonna go down that easy.

Love your pops take on Panda, but not so much on this one. But very envious you still have that connection.

    Inferiority complex

British are taught how to eat holding a knife and fork properly from an early age whilst you are still migrating from using your fingers to a sapoon.

Fork... what the hell is that. I use a hatchet to cut my meat and use a knife to pick it up and eat it. Haven't you ever been camping?

What exactly is Properly? I have seen some of your proper meals and dinner behaviors. Its pretentious and completely unnecessary. But then again being honest, it must all be about show as your food is awful. All that show for meals when you eat pies, beans and mushy peas. Do you properly tuck in the napkin at your neck to avoid spillage using the fork upside down?

JPPR couple your utensil handling with your campsite cooking and it's like you're home on the range partner.

Upside down fork? You mean you use it like a sapoon when one isn't available. do you use a fork like that in restaurants?

There is a lot about Merca that didn't modernise from the drive west.

Well I always though that a fork tine curvature was so when you put the food in your mouth you tend to lift the fork up. If the idea was to balance peas and beans why not make it flat?

And yeah. I grew up a country kid. Hunted, camped, backpacked, hiked 2 or so days to go to pristine Sierra lakes to fish. Campfire cooking and guess what...Still no beans or peas.

Honestly I can eat with anything. My backpacking fork was always flat and symmetrical so I could hold it in either side and all the same. All that proper dinner hoopla with a salad fork, soup spoon, use the inside knife for butter, big fork for main meal is just snob stuff to me.

Leave it to the whiney, anal-retentive island monkey to bitch about how someone uses a fork.

I am just poking fun at Toots as he is me. Whatever works. It's just food. In my upbringing, my elders taught me how to set a proper table when guests were coming. Salad plates, all utensils etc. Never understood all the hype but some how doing all that shows a higher level of class and etiquette. I used to go to large FooFoo dog and pony show exec dinner parties for work and all that set up made me laugh but I played along as it's all part of the show.

Still don't get the peas on the back of a fork though.

I believe that any meal you do not cook yourself would be a 10/10 by comparison.

Has the US got any "proper" dishes ?

All we see from the Stumpy front, is Steaks and Porkchops drowned in some spices.

EVERYBODY can grill a steak or such.... and without burning them. Not you.

It does ofcourse make the 'moneyshot' better that they are always presented with some girly "La Biere Belge", which Stumpy finds posh

And then his rendevous salad, which appears so messy, that a blind begger wouldn't touch it.

But it has canned Artiscocks and real feta !

That is the 3 dishes that Stumpy posts...over and over and over and then a few times more.

Now let's see you cook up some other american dishes; I bet that you have more than 3.

    Awfull, burnt or not.

Bet you can't and feel free not to use liver.

Not the Dinner Pic type of guy, Willy

And believe it or not, I'm not wearing a smartphone either.

Furthermore my kitchen could be filthy, so wouldn't want to open a 'flank' for attacks and stalking.

Better go back and look Helge before you shoot off your mouth. I have posted Lobster, Crab, spaghetti. Lasagna, fish and none burnt and not off the grill. I just did a hamburger... you chose to whinge rather then post up anything.

    Cheers.

    Oh no

Do you feel hurt now, Stumpy

You laid the table; I merely gave you a small portion

Was I too close to the truth ?

Relax; your Lobster Bisque buddy will be around to dry your eyes.

    It's called 'explanations', Veggie Boy.

You for one would follow me around if I gave you an 'excuse'.

    You'd be alright.

Jeff already took the biscuit in that regard. The state of his kitchen and tastes in pornography are oddly similar.
