Pulled out one of the porter house steaks.

    Seasoned and coming to air

Frst pass on the grill to sear in juices

    2nd quick sear.

Bit of charring as I cook the fat on the edge and heat up the bacon bits in the back for the tater

Dinner as served. The veggies my wife bought and asked me to try. They are frozen Green Giant mixed veggies from the US that she found at Makro. Not to bad with a bit of real butter splashed on them..

It was great. Enjoyed it while I caught up.

Didn't you see the peas? Frozen as well.

Stumpy isn't that combo of vegetables better known as succotash? Or a variation of?

Well on the bag it said. GREEN GIANT, mixed vegetables. Wife saw them and picked them up. They had more corn and carrots then peas. They weren't bad but wouldn't buy another bag. Prefer fresh brocolli, carrots, corn and mushrooms over frozen products.

In the UK its known as frozen mixed veg, if Monkey Boy was there you'd have a potion of his special sauce if he'd seen that.

Enjoyed the Spanish tortilla I'd made for lunch, so a repeat performance for dinner, though this time accompanied by some sliced baguette that had been brushed with olive oil and crisped up in the oven, topped with spoonfuls of pico de gallo (chopped tomato, onion, jalapeno, fresh coriander and fresh lime juice) for a kind of Mexican bruschetta.

    Dinner as prepped and served

Start with fresh mushrooms quartered. I later spiced with with olive oil, salt and pepper with a splash of onion powder

Started with Fresh carrots from market. A little Olive oil and Italian seasoning

Chicken breast on the grill with shrooms and carrots

    Dinner as served.

Very nice , reminds me of Spain.

Oh and the last time I made Spanish Tortilla!

Lesson learned, don't use too many eggs coz it's gotta be flipped.

    Fancy Spanish tonight now.....

Pizza and beer. Is there a better combination? I don’t think so. Even if the salami slices were bigger than the slices of pizza.

I'm with Joe on this, pizza is far down the food chain behind beer and beer, shots and beer, chisel and beer, kebab and beer, curry and beer, Mexican food and beer, even ribs and beer.
