Cool season would be an odd time to be bartering for an a/c remote.

^ 'He'... I have a name you know.

    It is a mystery indeed.

I thought it a bit risky giving the wife her Christmas present prematurely, but she wanted to book up a holiday over the New Year.

I get lunch every day at the moment, and no, that's not a euphemism.

A few days ago I got another of my favourites... a chicken liver stir fry. I love this apart from the gizzards which can be a bit chewy.

^^ old joke I know, but that looks offal

Ok, peas, Brussel sprouts and liver should never be on a plate of food.

Gizzards are only meant to be eaten after fried half to death and then dipped into a condiment to help disguise the flavor after drinking a large amount of alcohol.

    Reds sent!!!!!!

Popped over to Koh Si Chang to visit family and stopped off in Ang Sila, Ko Aun Dim Sum. 30THB a plate and huge variety 6 people and paltry bill of under 1500 THB. The place is rammed, been to other such places but the quality and portion size here is excellent, handy to stop at the fish market to pick up the makings for the evening meal.

I presume it was Armo that recommended 7-11's Knorr Mashed Potato in a cardboard carton, just add boiling water to the fill line, wait 2 minutes, then add a sliver or 3 of butter.

Now there's a man that knows his food.

Never been a fan of shopping mall restaurant food, usually bland and overpriced. However, someone recommended this particular one situated in a Robinson's Lifestyle Mall only about 1.5 km from our house. Decent selection of both Viet and Issan type dishes, good quality, freshly made, and reasonably priced. Maybe not up to 'Spoons' in Minehead standard, but it worked for us.

It was about a third of the size. The egg was about a size 10 I think.

Still, there's no way I could live with chickens.

I wonder if I can influence Cyrille into having larb moo for lunch today?

No miniature eggs to worry about with this.

A baked chicken breast from the freezer, and turned into Chinese style Chicken with cashew nuts. I could actually eat this every day.

The secret is to make plenty of sauce, and bordering on glutinous to stick with whatever is underneath (Jasmine rice in this case).
