Nope. I removed, peeled, then replaced them all.

Inspired by Senor Mendarito in the dinner thread, time for a *cough* fusion mexican lunch.

Nachos or wraps, crunchy green iceberg lettuce depending...

    Yumm.... liquidy

Nachos it was.... until... from the back of the fridge.

    'fusion'

For the second time this morning the house was filled with pure savage animalistic devouring and evil ecstasy.

Fingers, hands, legs, plate and table uncontrollably licked clean.

My boss wanted an end of year pow wow over lunch the other day so out we went.

Not usually into this fancy stuff, but the menu is different here every day - no dish is ever repeated - and it never fails.

Deep fried aubergine in a sweet and sour sauce with pesto, some inoffensive pink stuff and pistachios.

Pork loin with asparagus and jizz.

Lovely, but I was fucking starving 2 hours later.

    Wow.

    Just.

    Wow.

That reminds me, I think I have a sachet of Angel Delight in the fridge.

I may cook it up for pudding tonight.

I did see these posts yesterday from you two when I was out.

Unfortunately, my Spurs mate has been incommunicado for a few days, so I decided not to rise to the bait.

    Admirable restraint and all that.

    Lunch ... the second course-spd-jpg

I foresee a relatively unhealthy gut-bursting addiction to chitty-esque spuds topped with sour cream, cheese and fried bacon.

Carve a cross into the spud, then give it a serious sesh of pricking with a fork, then into the microwave for a good few minutes.
Remove from wave. grind on loads of S+P
    Chuck on grated cheese
    Dollop on sour cream
top with finely diced and just fried bacon....

    Right??

I have a question for you Hal...

Your picture shows you coarse fishing on June 14.

I spent years coarse fishing in the UK and have June 16 ingrained on my memory as the start of the coarse season. Even our non-fishing teachers knew this date because a group of us would skive off school for the first day of the season, and the teachers would warn us not to beforehand.

(March 14 was always the last day of the season).

Am I right? Has something changed?

Not the same here; it's year round, but there are species specific rules, which don't affect me anyway as I'm after roach, bream, tench etc.

Just about to head out now actually...

It also never affects me in the UK as canals and stillwaters are exempt.
