No fruit should ever be dipped in salt and chili flakes.

You don't see monkeys and elephants reaching for the Saxa, do you?

How to make a perfectly good, healthy food really shit and unhealthy, Thai style.

Definitely goes in the bin along with chicken sausages, durian and that fermented shrimp dip they eat with raw vegetables.

Imagine the farts your missus would be squeezing out after a day on that little lot?

I mean this beautiful rack of ribs which cost £30 was drowning in a bbq sauce.
It made it unedible and went back to the kitchen.
There'd have been photos posted up here before you even touched it.

    Verdict:

    Bullshit.

You rarely see them drink beer or support Man U either.

    So...

    Nice try though

Would they add salt and chili to it if they did (or ice)?

    I think not.

Some things are perfect just the way God made them (although United need the odd touch up every now and then).

^ Not as tasty as my left over plain rice soup, I bet.

After slowly, dazely and cautiously heading to the Phuket branch of Bangkok Hospital for a once over (why not just call it fokin' Phuket hospital??) it was time to do a Mendy and get me blood-sugar levels up.

Duty chef for M'Sahib again, she requested a pineapple rice for lunch today, so happy to oblige. First off, frying some grated garlic and ginger in olive oil:

Followed by the rice (basmati in this case) which has been rinsed, soaked and dried:

When the rice is well coated after a couple of minutes, added some soy sauce, sriratcha, salt, sugar and chilli flakes

Given a good stir before adding the pineapple then the water

Brought to the boil then simmered for 15 minutes with the lid on.

Heat turned off, lid left on for 5 minutes, then forked up.

She had it with some weird fish curry paste.

It was apparently, even for M'Sahib. I wouldn't touch the stuff.

    Added some Cabot Habanero cheese

Few slices of Tomatoes and sliced dill pickles

    Fresh lettuce

Add a few Frito Scoops and a BeerLao and life is gooooood.

Man was it good PAG. Was a bit messy towards the end. It would have gone better with some of your homemade buns but I gave up on the Thai ones and I do not eat enough bread to make my own so I enjoy with fresh wheat sliced bread.

Bread and buns are easy enough to make, and freeze well. Bread I freeze in slices of four, buns/bagels etc easy enough to take out of the freezer individually.
