^I'm not sure what you are saying , Hal, ignore if preventing it!
Don't care what you think of me, I feel sexy as I am. What you say doesn't matter one bit.
Now I am going on a long hike in the forest with my bf. Enjoy chumming with your pals.

Nice.
The only meal I've had in Russia was a free bowl of red cabbage soup about 30 years ago served up by 10 ton Olga in the airport.
My flight was delayed for a day and the sirport was full of delayed passengers from all over.
Ended up spending most of the time on the Guiness in the Russias first Irish bar talking to Hippies, Drug Smugglers, Business types, trolley dolleys, economic refugees and backpackers.
Anyhow 10 ton Olga had a trolley with a squeaky wheel laden down with bowls of red cabbage soup, everyone in the tetminal got a bowl whether you wanted it or not.
No one refused Olgas hospitality.
I do not eat borst anymore
It's an ukranian dish/bowl.

I love the stuff if you get a good one. My hot Russian neighbour back in Oz use to bring us up a pot of it every Friday because she worried about our lack of eating habits over the weekend.
We had Ukrainian galley crew offshore Israel for 9 weeks and I thought their take on it was a bit shite in comparison.
No sandwiches today so I'll be off to my fav noodle shop for lunch.
Lang may yer lum reek...
Wife made a big pot of Pork broth and served up a big bowl of Sen mee tom yum moo bowl of soup.. Perfect on a rainy day.
Lunch was a lovely affair with helge in one of our favourite places in Moscow and we ended up debating the concept of former people and whether this could eventually translate to the evil west. He's such a laidback, fun guy and I'm really enjoying these lighthearted chats that we're having.
I was absolutely starving today so I decided to treat myself to a pancake as well.
It was a heavy last weekend for us both, so we passed on the ale. We won't be making that mistake at the weekend though when we get together to talk about the good times under Uncle Joe!
Chicken and potatoes in cream sauce with roasted vegetables and a coffee custard pudding for me (and a meat pancake on the side). Remind me to tell the waiter next time that the soup kitchen's presentation skills leave quite a bit to be desired and could create a poor impression of The Motherland for foreign visitors.
Roasted chicken breast, plov and mixed veggies for Helge (his favourite).
And here is the half-eaten solyanka we lovingly shared!

Today we went to the opening of a Italian chain resto in a mall.....well overpriced for marginal food, we thought it was the best way to celebrate our 17th anniversary.
Started with calamari and eggplant parm (pictured). It was the best of the bunch.
The wife got salmon and I got lasagna....the wife said she cooks better salmon and the lasagna had to be the worst I've ever tried. It was soupy and there was very little filling between the sheets.
The best part of the meal was that if we used our credit card to pay, the meal would be 1/2 price.

Yikes.
Straws needed for the lasagne.
And have they sprinkled something on the top there to simulate grilled cheese?
