Otherwise, we've got a bunch of stark raving hard core muzzies forming a government- more like a Caliphate- and that is prolly even worse.

Just great. All of a sudden, Morsi doesn't look quite so bad- but he did indeed stuff it up.
Morsi looked shocking, he was in the process of establishing the Caliphate.
Maburack looks positively great. He kept stability and a lid on inter factional disputes and kept as secular a country as you could have in that part of the world.
    Got that right, Koojo.

Democracy in the form we recognize in Europe & the States won't work in the ME unless you have a stable, cohesive populous like Israel for example.

    Israel is not a democracy.

Muslim Friday prayers today in Egypt. Either the media failed to report it,or there where no demostrations after prayers. No demos means the hard tactics by the army shooting the MB supporters worked. They didn't want to die today.
Next the MB will resort to suicide bombers,a copy cat method used in the never never land of Islam. They have used suicide attackers in Sinai before.

Make no mistake, the message received by the people of the ME (not just Egypt) is crystal clear. "We play by your democratic rules, we win, we celebrate, our elected leaders do the bidding of the majority. But if you in the West and your proxy wealthy Arabs in our countries don't like the outcome, you'll take it away from us. So democracy is a useless exercise."

Have no doubt about that. Put yourself in their shoes. They know now, without question, that democracy and the Arab Spring was a sham. The next generation will move forward with their own agenda. Not good news for the rest of us.
My mind is not for rent to any God or Government, There's no hope for your discontent - the changes are permanent!

Very true. The thing is America and their western lap dogs do not give a fuck about democracy at all. When Hamas were democratically elected the first things that the west did was ignore the result and Israel ignored it as well as blockading Gaza. The west has been very happy to support dictators for many decades who murder their own people, they have no problem with that as long as they are their friends...Saddam being just one, there are many others.
