I don't think we have much choice right now. Wade can bat but can't keep.

Pup is a Haddin fan too, so I expect him to be around a bit longer.

Agree, he is a hack though.

Yep. They did. Can't take that away from them. They seem to have a constant supply of very good batsmen.

bi you maybe... I'll take a threesome?

What I'd prefer and what I'd take are 2 very different things. I'd like to slaughter and embarrass them in their own backyard, I wanna see the Aussie players and fans crying in the stadiums. But, a win is a win; 4 draws (all to be lost if not for rain) then a lucky win due to bad umpiring decisions would also be very enjoyable...

Yes BB. Our ODI bowlers are second string . We have much better bowlers. But we still beat you smelly poms in this format with rejected Mitch Johnson leading the attack.

Dream on with your 0-5 prediction. No way in hell it could happen. Can I please have some of whatever it is you are smoking?

And welcome back to the cricket thread Bob. Hope you enjoyed your flounce

    South Africa 249 & 232
    Pakistan 442 & 45/3 (13.5 ov)
    Pakistan won by 7 wickets

    I'm happy PAK won.

This is a welcome good result for the troubled team - and country.

Who knows how they will play in the next match though. They are the most unpredictable team in test cricket.

You want bad umpiring to decide the series????

    Unfuckingbelievable....

I'd rather lose 0-5 than that happen.

Come on, Wally, put yerself in my/our position. The cricket is great, but it's nearly as great watching the spectacle of the Aussies all a fluster...

I like Aussieland and Aussiefolk, but for some strange reason I get great pleasure in your world sporting demise in a similar way to a Scotsman enjoys watching the English football team lose...

What happened to your excellent cyclists???

    &, best of all:

    Lastly, but not least...

    Now that is a loss!

I have never once said that. But I have said that we have better quick bowlers than England. And Harris, when fit, is probably one of the best in world ... Steyn has played more matches and has more consistently so is prolly the best.

Pakistan have one the best line ups right now with a good mixture of pace, seam and spin.

That 7 foot something giant Ifran proved his critics wrong by staying fit in the most hot and humid places to play cricket in the test just played - imagine facing him! Not the quickest, but facing balls from that height must be frightening.

Blah blah blah ..... That really is becoming boring.

Care to put your money where your mouth is?

I will donate $50 to TD if England win 0-5, and you do the same if they don't ?

Do it. Or stop the bullshit

I'm not a gambling man either g2bh - and unfortunately it has become part of the game - for the worse.

But losing 0-5 at home ??? I wouldn't call betting on that not happening a gamble at all

    ^$Aussie 50 is about 3 pounds 32 pence, right???

The bet seems a tad unfair, as of 15 or so possible results you have chosen a very unlikely one and saying that you will pay up then - for the other 14 or so possible results, I have to pay up? Aussie logic...
