T-bone is my favourite steak, but I've gotta say that for me, that is slightly too rare.

For a good steak it doesn’t matter how rare it is.

An unexpected bit of Georgian tonight.

Khachapuri (the best "cheese on toast" in the world):

And this lemonade, which was basically cream soda. Well good.

Not bad, looks like a giant Yorkshire pudding with a cheesey fried egg init.

Tonight I ventured for a fusion sea bass stir fry, plenty of flavours of fresh veggies to compliment the Teriyaki sauce.

    10 minutes in the wok.

    Booyakasha

Wish I had pictures of the Thanksgiving dinner that I just devoured. It was great, but I’m feeling a bit like Mr. Creosote.

^^ That looks like it might be quite tasty, chitty.

Was the choice of sea bass fillets over the more traditional chicken, pork or beef a personal preference or cos they had your favourite colour sticker on?

    That looks brilliant

Getting my energy up for dinner with a quick rodeo

    Dinner-rodeo1-jpg

I was glad to see Little Lilliputian Lao Lady remembered to bring her rubber gloves this time.

    Dinner-20251201_180758-jpg

She sustained a horrific injury while we were having a bonfire this evening and posted it on her Fartbook and was inundated with scores of condolence dings within minutes.

    Dinner-20251201_211317-jpg

She brought a very tasty chicken salad and stir fry rice she had made at home. It had the devil's own coriander in it, which is not my favourite normally, but this was very tasty.

If you have a piece of fruit for dessert that also earns you chocolate points.

The new hazelnut kitkat edged out the standard version

Did you give her a kitkat handshake afterwards?

Those pork chops almost look edible. But I’m betting they were still a yellow stickers, eh?

^^^ Nice thick gravy Joe, my gravy let me down last night.

Mainly veg and half a small potato.

Do quality sausages count as 'processed' food? I don't think so, they're just minced pork with added herbs.

I’m pretty sure he needed teeth for those pork chops.

Senorita let me drive her spanky new hybrid RAV4 this evening.

    Dinner-20251204_203718-jpg

Never driven a hybrid before. It is totally space-ship silent all-electric below 30kmh then the engine joins in.

I repaid her indulgence with a bowl of my finest Tom Yam, to which she is addicted

    Dinner-20251204_221935-jpg

She brought me several bags of frozen peas from the old people home so we put a dent in them with a pea, kidney bean and prawn mix while watching the cricket.

She got unusually excited watching the cricket which she had never seen before and shouted 'far away' every time England got a boundary. Although she thought the team was Poland due to Scott Boland's name being on the screen as the bowler and her loose grasp of English consonants after only 20 years as a resident.

^I gave Senorita all the prawns since she is the love of my life (also because she brought me a very nice Christmas Micky and Minnie Mouse shirt)

If I ever met a woman like that I believe that my life would be complete.

    Does she have a sister?

    Or even a mother?

    Aunt?

The Mother and Aunt may already be relieved of their peas.
