This wonder winter warming concoction didn't touch the sides.
Just the ticket to keep Storm Claudia at bay, I literally thought the roof was going to blow of the house today.
I fear I've lost a trampoline, a garden gate and a treasured orange B&Q bucket today.

All the good stuff boiled up in a bisto gravy mix, no need for hours in a crockpot.

    30 minutes boiling, job done.

This has to be the worst Xmas dinner I've ever had, there was no taste or flavour to any of it!

    ^ The peas look good!

^^ Lamb is without doubt my favourite meat. That looks great.

They were slices of Turkey that tasted of nothing.
The mash was tasteless, the carrots were rock hard and the cranberry sauce had the consistency of water.
The stuffing actually tasted of stuffing albeit a tad crispy.
The pigs in blankets enough said.
However, the peas I am happy to report tasted like peas.
Ł15 for that abomination that I failed to eat, the only saving grace was the pint of Leffe that came with the meal.

    Looks bland .

But surely the big question is what are you doing eating Xmas dinner in November?

Was it a reheated leftover from last season perhaps?

That does look as ropey as anything he's served up, which is pretty damning.

Lovely lady from Luzon came for a BBQ invitation this evening, but she brought a box of home made adobo, so we decided to have that instead.

    Dinner-20251124_211514-jpg

It is not the most photogenic of dishes but very tasty, made with vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, sugar and a few other things that slip my mind, she tells me

    Dinner-20251124_211602-jpg

I supplied the mango juice freshly squeezed from my mangoes (not really!)

    Dinner-20251124_211915-jpg

The thunder rumbled ominously and afforded me the opportunity of extending a comforting arm of protection against the darkening forest spirits

    Dinner-20251124_211335-jpg

Which somehow ended up with her knickers on the floor

    Respecto Loops!
Not the prettiest of plates but packs a punch with nutrients.

Boiled Kale, brocoli, green beans, carrots and spuds providing a nutritious green juice for the gravy granules..

^^ That could definitely benefit from some English mustard.

How long did you cook that meat for, btw?

    About 3 months?

    Don't encourage him.

He'll be fusioning it up next time with some yellow sticker squid.

Well, there’s two schools of thought. One is that small encouragement for baby steps goes a long way…
