    Touché.

but how does that phrase go? Correlation does not imply causation? I think Mendy has just proved it does.

Nice to see all the appreciation for the sacred Haggis.

I can’t find the photo but Eggs Hebridean is where it’s at.

Black puddings stacked on haggis puddings with poached eggs on top and a good pour of whisky sauce.

Slip the bacon in everywhere/anywhere you like.

As previously mentioned, planned on having Korean minced pork today anyway, so a portion of that, along with a portion of mashed sweet potato defrosted yesterday.

Whilst still cold from the fridge, mixed the minced pork with some peas and diced carrots, then packed the mix into a pyrex dish. Smoothed out the cold mashed sweet potato on top, then into the oven for 30 minutes.

It was actually really good. Gochujang adds sweetness as well as heat to any dish, so the sweet potato mash went well with it. As it was only for me, I ate it straight out of the dish it was cooked in.

Well i didn't use a circular saw and the Korat technique to cut them up if that's what you mean. They are safely tucked up in the freezer, they freeze well for when you want one in closed season.

Well, I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Last night's stuffed pepper, sans alcohol.

But honestly, you might have been better sticking to the alcohol ones, because at least you had an excuse.

Went out with the full intention of buying the ingredients for a cottage pie and decided to make a chilli instead.

Yellow sticker availability don't always yield the recipe ingredients you'd hope for.

    They don't do sachets!

You have to rob a full bottle, ask Reg Dingle for tips on that subject.

You get about 150 sachets of tom sauce with every Pizza Company order so I just put them in the bar where people/teachers can steal them all they want.

I picked up these tandoori chicken breasts at Korat Chef yesterday to surprise the daughter... but what do I do with them? What would go nice?

From the picture it looks as though a garnish of coriander is in order, and other than that a dollop of rice out of the rice cooker.

But that seems a bit boring?

I was hoping for something a little easier, I have no spare time.

How about some roasted carrots and peppers?

Red lentil dhal is easy. A veg curry, aloo sag or some such is easy and freezes down well

I've got sausage, mash and beans if my wife remembers the smash and the beans.

If not I'll probably have a Burger King.

Maybe this sort of stuff will eventually register with the 'TD curry club', whose thread for the most part looks rather like a 'soccer' thread started by Landreth.
