I am not educated in these matters, Mike. When I look at ladies squirting on the internet it looks like pissing to me. But Baldrick is a squirting connoisseur and has assured me that it is an entirely different physiological phenomenon.

Mattress delivery is a good side-hustle when the fridges are quiet, Lao. But best to wear rubber gloves where the item is of dubious provenance!

    Scientists have proved it’s urine.

Let's get it back on track and 'slam in the lamb'.

I haven't seen lamb shanks at Makro in yonks, so have started to take off the ends of lamb legs with my circular saw. This not only provides a free lamb shank with every leg, but also the legs also now fit in the convection oven.

    Win, win!

But I was worried that this may make the daughter have second thoughts about leaving home?

I don't want to make my food 'too' good.

Mediterranean style lamb shank served on a bed of mash!

There ain't no school in the world that'll serve this up... especially with peas.

Gotta say, I even impressed meself with this!

Half a yellow pepper (well spotted, by the way), half a tin of Italian chopped tomatoes AND a splash of olive oil!

I don't think mint sauce goes so well with lamb shanks in the stye I cook them.

Felt like all day cooking so slow ribs. Sides were Cajun potato salad, some garlic bread and home made pinto beans with Dixie sausage. Wife had bought some beer Lao IPA's so it all went down well.

    ^ Doesn't it just!

I found a bag of mackerel fillets at the bottom of the freezer yesterday morning, defrosted and fried up a few and spent all day planning on inventing mackerel kedgeree for dinner.

But when it came to it... bollox to that.

I dug out a Korat Chef chicken and mushroom pie from the freezer instead.

Eaten standing up to save setting the table.

    ^ The Master (bator) speaks!

In fact, I put the chips on too late and by the time they were ready, the pie was a bit singed.

    As simple as that!

    ^^^That is pure Armstrong, indeed.

I hope he can source this delicacy through one of these Thai expat pot-noodle boutique delivery services.

Farting squirting lady cooked up a lentil dahl this evening

While I serenaded her from the sofa on her own guitar

Served with garlic naan, ghee, yoghurt and chutney

Took me back to my trek round the Annapurna circuit in Nepal 11 years ago, although this time I did not get the khyber-khazi come-uppance, which last time caused me to inadvertently soil the rugby shirt that I forgot was tied round my waist when I jumped over a wall and pulled my keks down in an emergency evacuation.

I had to try and wash it in a mountain stream but the foul fragrance seemed to follow me around and faintly coloured the expression of fellow travellers that I met and tried to hail with jovial jabber and convivial convo over the next few days.

    .

Perhaps the two items are related?

(farting and squinting = lentil curry
