Argentinian steak in a Cuban restaurant in Bangsar. It was decent, if slightly small - so I ate two. The sauce was chimichurri.

That's lucky because sharing a half kilo joint wouldn't go far. Anyway, not too bad slightly over cooked. And what did you cut it with? A piece of lego?

    Easy relaxing Saturday grill day

Started with a nice grass fed T Bone.

Side dish is grilled Tomatoes, with fresh cut garlic and onions, Italian spices and a drizzle of Olive oil

    Tomatoes on the grill

First flip and sear before lowering the heat

T-Bone resting as I finish up the fresh Mashed taters and gravy.

Dinner as served with a nice IPA.

    Cottage Pie!

I made a load of meat sauce up and froze it in bags so later there may also be spaghetti bolognaise and maybe even a lasagne. Who knows, Mexican wraps may also be possible.

But tonight it was Cottage Pie.

There were no additional peas to those cooked with the pie, but we did have kanaa (kale?) from the garden!

^ Looks nice, albeit rather sloppy.

Today i'll mostly be eating bratwurst, kofta and cheesey potato salad

I splashed out on a couple of ribeyes from a good butcher in town for Saturday night.

    Dinner-20230608-133227-jpg

Fifteen fucking quid! You must have some wedge, stumpy.

    Dinner-20230608-142932-jpg

Unfortunately, Saturday is Saturday and I ended up getting pished, so we were on the last day of eating before they started walking off themselves.

    Dinner-20230611-140943-jpg

Seared on both sides for a minute, then a further 4 minutes with a bit of butter in the pan before using the juices for a nice blue cheese and mushroom sauce. Snubelicious!

    Dinner-20230611-150411-jpg

I might do a bit of this burnt meat again next weekend.

It's thundering up here now, so you may as well head indoors and order a kebab for later if it's not pissing down already where you are.

Himalayan sea salt often comes in pinkish-colored crystals along with claims it contains special healing properties. But Mayo Clinic's Dr. Regis Fernandes says when compared to regular table salt, Himalayan sea salt is basically the same thing.
    Just saying.
