Damn, that's ruined that from both ends by the sound of it. Maybe we could try trade-ins at Arthur Dailey's lot?

It's time I started posting some pics of food on here as the last few pages of stuff have been very unappetising. Trouble is I eat mine before I take the pics.

^ it was inedible mate, the chicken was as tough as old boot too(see how the skin has turned up). She mentioned the chicken not being the freshest, thank god, otherwise I'd have at least ate that .

She tries though, bless her.... and she didn't break down, cry and shout loads of stuff in Khmer/laos/Chinese ?? tonight when I told her it was awful

I'm gonna spend some time in the kitchen with her tomorrow, although I'm a terrible cook too

Looks like your better half brought chicken that was supposed to make Khao Man Gai.
We made the same mistake once i swapped my chicken for an old inner tube because it was easier to eat.

Or she has been in the park near the Emporium with a catapult after the pigeons.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!

Not just you, noticed that before as well. To avoid dicing with food poisening and/or death we buy Betagro chicken pieces and whole birds from Foodland. Very good product.

I wish I could. I had a great growing season last year but this year my tomatoes had issues. The Moskva is a heirloom that is more cold weather tolerant due to it being from Russia. This is the first year I grew this type of tomato and I encountered the dreaded "blossom end rot". I does just as described and is caused by a calcium deficiency. I was able to get this sorted out towards the end of the season but then we had a freak August wind storm that reeked havoc on my plants they were heavy and laden with fruit so many of those branches snapped right off.

Rough season for tomatoes but my peppers sure did well. I will be pickling jalapenos to go with the jars of SUPER hot pickled habaneros I grew last summer. Can only use those just a little at a time!

Nice looking plate of good old tasty comfort food there Hwrkx , thats the sort of thing I would kill for after 2 weeks on the family ranch in deep Issan.

Good to see your carrying on with the austerity theme triple chang although points deducted for using slightly upmarket Morrisons , cheaper alternatives are available

I think that would pork parmingiana, which is Italian, chef. You were lucky to find decent cheese.

The anticipation of a pic of some rarebit

Fill yourself up with rarebit at lunch so your not so starving that you gobble the lot down before you take a pic then we can all be jealous of your culinary skills.
