That meal looks ok, for Thailand. I certainly wouldn't refuse it. Nice work on finding an affordable but drinkable red.

When I make jacket potatoes, I like the skin to be blackened and crispy, I eat the lot.

Willy wouldn't know what a Jersey Royal was, even if it hit him in the eye...The best potato in the world!

The idea of a "best" potato might pass some, as with so many generated hybrids today the choice of said quality tubers is a matter of taste - neither right or wrong.

For a real surprise, try the untouched indigenous varieties from their origins - less the super strains that have been hybrid for particular Western fancy.

I shall do mate - definitely. The tribe are practically en route though so we might have to all sit cross-legged in your garden grazing on sticky rice baskets.

The roast looks pretty good, but it appears to be missing condiments. Eg gravy, apple sauce and englidh mustard.

WTF are you on about Pikey? It's roast pork. Apple suace goes on roast pork. NigelandJan is question why I would also include mustarf on it, I put mustard on all roast meat.

    Do try to keep up.

From what you have posted here you don't get roasted meat and if you do the wife or staff can't cook it!

Can you cook it any roast meat ?

You would be laughed out of any joint if you wanted mustard with roast pork but each to their own.( you are in Jarshitter )

You have kind of shot yourself on this thread if you pipe up anywhere saying something does not go now.

What a plum or do you like a damson with a goat curry ?

Its been Thai heat here again in Costa del Frinton so a rather nice chicken salad for dinner today , I just par boiled some spuds out the garden then fried em up with cloves of garlic to flavour them a bit .
A reduced price bag of mixed salad plus a bit of additional beetroot and tomatoes from the garden.
Just one large chicken breast for 2 of us cost me £1

All in all a nice tasty meal for very little money .

I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
