^For lovers of liberal amounts of cracked pepper and HP sauce, see this mornings light snack in the Breakfast thread.

^Saw that, 45 seconds after I posted the pic. Ever been filling your tank when a Lambo pulled up at the next pump?

Finally!. Show us how it should be done, I've learned a lot from other peoples cooking in this thread (and appreciate the time they've taken posting their efforts very much) but I'm really keen to know how you do a steak dinner

A request from Mrs Worx tonight. She wanted the chicken breasts in the fridge done the way she likes them which is seasoned with garlic powder and paprika, pan fried, and finished with a good squeeze of fresh lemon. So with a bit of salad on the side and a secret dipping sauce (chili sauce and mayo) dinner was served.

For the record, I wanted pork chops

^^ That looks good too. Showing the beginnings of pepper control.

^ See you can't get out of the habit of making toast the Thai way. The first sign of a singe and it's ready.

    Few questions...

1 - Why is the warm bread/toast not buttered?

2 - Why are the tommies still in their virgin state and not cooked?

3 - If you examine the black pudding closest to use, you will see that it is limp. Need more cooking.

Poor effort from Blighty. You need to cook with your heart like they do with soul food. That's what we're doing over here in Thailand now, but have renamed it coup food.

Pizza Hut stopped deliver at 7pm by the way lads. Git a Scoozi instead, so it 'aint all bad.
    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

The oil which the black pud was fried in served as perfectly acceptable lube for the wholemeal slices.

On the contrary, the tomatoes were seared for a duration which yielded optimum results. They retained their tang whilst engaging the palate with a delightful texture. Do you get me, Bogey?

Nobody examines black pudding closely. Black pudding is gorged on straight from the pan with animalistic ferocity. The three slices on the plate were a token gesture for the photograph.

I'm quite sure that the moral of the story is that my 'Well at least I don't reside under military rule' luncheon is the best meal ever to be created.

^Good question, bloody good eating if it is. They use to sell it in Foodland but haven't for many years now, gently poached it was an absolutely delicious breakfast protein.

No time to do anything much tonight, dinner had to be put together during the half time break of an NRL game. Shit it in, with time to spare.

I see you've kept the pepper away from the sauce and cooked the lamb nicely; 9/10.

^^ My Spidey Senses are telling me that you were waiting for the chops to cook and added the sauce before they were ready.

Impatience will be the death of you.

    Looks great!

    Will try a green...

    --EDIT--

Need to spread the love for the green. Sorry.
