Well just started preheating the oven and took the roast out of the marinade after 23 hours and 45 minutes.

Soon I shall put her in the oven, brown her off then let her roast for a couple of hours.

I bought a pork butt roast today and borrowed a crock pot from the daughter so that I can make some Bar BQ pulled pork for the days between Christmas and New Years. I'll try getting some photos as the process matriculates.

    Merry Christmas TDers.

Merry Christmas all, and RS just normal Thai spuds from Foodland. They make a great mash but the moisture content is too high for good fries, imho.

Yet another square plate they seem very popular at the moment , the dinner looks superb though carrot and swede mash i love that now but used to hate it at school . the only thing i would change would be to add cauliflower cheese, stuffing looks nice also.

    Square plates....heh.
    So 1980's. Culinarily speaking.

    Perhaps, become more fashionably retro.

    Nice.

Might do up some of them on Saturday. Perhaps with garlic yogurt.

And maybe with some hummus and chips or something. I foresee a sort of Lebanese Chicken Burger meal happening.

The last of Mao's Italian Meatballs, with roasted red, yellow and green bell peppers.
