Paella!!
I had a jumbalaya the other night. Took me four minutes of meticulous preparation..
Or as they say in Espaniola Paiaayaa !!
Sounds a bit better than:
"Knock us up a bowl of Pie ella would ya Pedro."
Mr NR's famous roast dinner. All made by his fair(ish) hands (apart from the cheese sauce on the cauliflower cheese which I made 'cause he uses packet stuff - yuk!). Pretty good huh?
Of course, the washing up was left for me...
Sorry NR cant green you allthough really I should red you as I am salivating all over the keyboard and I got cheese on bloody toast tonight for dinner !
Superb !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now we're talkin
Nope, he made them. I usually make the roasties, but he wanted to this time, and I'd told him how I did them (sprinkled with smoked paprika and roasted in lard). However I'd put a pinch of cayenne in the cheese sauce & been too lazy to put it away. Mr NR decided that I'd been kind and left it out for him, didn't look at the label, so those are cayenne roasties, certainly not Aunt Bessies! Not as bad as they sound actually, quite nice, but maybe not suited to an English roastOriginally Posted by Dillinger

Which is quite good, i shall be off line for a week.
Still got my stuff in the dryer.
Dinner tonight. Nothing fancy, on a bit of a health kick lately so oven baked Salmon and salad would have to do.
A good squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the lot + a bit of Tartare sauce on the side and Robert's your Mothers Brother
Really should do some work on photography and presentation skills. But what the hell, it tasted nice...
^Looks fookin' delicious.
I'm greening!
Me too
Gorgeous
Thanks guys.
I should have mentioned for the folks in Pattaya (and I know there's a lot of them on the board) when it comes to buying fresh Salmon there's a ton of options as you's would know. For example in Foodland a few days back they had Salmon from Alaska, NZ, Scotland, and Tasmania ranging in price from about 950 to 1300 Baht per KG.
I've tried all of them and they're all good, can't tell any difference really. But I get mine now from Friendship. They always have a styrofoam box of cryovaced fillets on ice that're just the right size for 3 servings along the back left wall where the cheeses and yoghurts are. It's about 800 Baht per KG and I don't know where it comes from but the flesh is always firm, the fat content is good as the pic above shows, and most importantly the taste is great!.
Heads up from me to Hwkx green in the bin mate ,, just the thing for the unusually hot weather we have in the UK now
