    Thanks bro..

Totally unrelated, but damn, wish I could make Som Tam (but Papaya is so hard to come by in NZ). Need to cook more healthy meals.

As no one cares for papaya, so naturally no market for a domestic population.
It does fair well in the far sub-tropical north.....we grew a couple of varieties in Kerikeri back when.

And Dickie I would have thought with the sizeable Thai population in NZ, some Asians grocery stores would have green Papaya in stock (seasonaly perhaps). I know for a fact the larger Asian stores on the Gold Coast have all the ingredients needed to make Somtam, much to the Missus's delight. Why you would want to eat it is a whole different topic .

My wife steamed this red snapper that I was fortunate to find in a supermarket here in Singapore on the first day of Chinese New Year.

It was quite nice. I realise that I need a Leo glass though.

    Looks fantastic.

But are those Marmite open sandwiches on the right of the plate?
If so then they would have been better cut into strips as soldiers.
I'm joking ofcourse (apart from the 'Looks fantastic' bit)

Reckon we'll be copying you tomorrow night SBF.

Unless I can come up with a reasonable excuse, in which case I'll be copying Dillinger.

    SBF inspired somchai-ness.

Nice to have a change I suppose.

Back to pasta tomorrow. At least that won't be giving me the eye as I eat it.

Which law says you can't have pasta with it.
IMO you can have pasta with everything.
    That's why I'm over weight......

Pizza from my apartment balcony, overlooking the city of sails/sky city casino..

I will miss this view (especially at night).

    Last night at Hangar..

Beer battered fries, Cesar salad and thin pizza...

Had a fetish for pizza... won't touch it for months now I've satisfied my craving...

1st pic from the new iphone 7... not a bad pic... rest are my SG6 (for comparison).

Edit. Thanks mate, yours looks nice too.

Nice view Dicky. How much does a month's rent generally set you back over there? You'd be paying upwards of two grand for that in the overated shitpit that is London.
