    Oh I would envy that.

I'm heavier now than when I started it.

Continuing on my weekday quest for healthy food, lunch was a thick soup with sweet potatoes, lentils, leeks and carrots, and flavoured with coriander.

Smart plan (I more or less, follow that)...we humans don't need to eat 3 meals per day... in very general terms, the less you eat, the longer you live.
So Humbert will starve himself all day, then is free to feast on anything he desires... and he won't get fat.

Of course, the success of this warrior diet, depends on the individuals metabolism
and the trick is to not eat anything (except a couple pieces of fruit) throughout the day...

Luckily, I just naturally don't feel hungry in the evening. Never have. I like to eat at between 2:30 and 3:00 PM.

Cauliflower and broccoli mash, sweetcorn and salmon drizzled in olive oil.

Velly tasty before going back to real food from Friday to Sunday.

Salmon is quickly replacing chicken as our meat during the Monday-Thursday healthy-ish days.

Gonna do a nice n' light salmon and lemon farfalles this weekend or next.

I certainly don't diet and I'm in the pub now, but I've lost about 4kgs since Christmas by having a couple of meat free days during the week and just carrying on with my usual 5 or 6kms every couple of days at the gym.

Chicken, I'll do my best with the Burmese food pics. A lot of people dislike the cuisine, and I have to confess the amount of oil can be really unpleasant at times. My experience so far is that the food in the restaurants is pretty forgettable. Have had some homemade stuff from local friends and as little gifts from parents at school- worlds apart- bloody lovely food.

    The salmon looks well tasty.

The pie meal would be good too, but for the gravy being poured over the pie. So the top crust goes all soggy.

Give that waitress a slap. Or a good rodgering in the bogs.

Jesus Christ, isn't that the case? We found a couple of Shan places around Inle that were pretty good, but elsewhere it was ridiculous. The food was swimming in oil.

What's that all about? Do they think it adds flavour or something?
