I've never had beans with steak. It just doesn't seem to match for me.

I'm sure one day I'll try it and be furious it took me so long.

    Correct.

Steak should always be served with peas.

In fact, I think that steak should always be served with fried egg on top, as with just about any other meal.

Earlier this week... tuna fish cakes!

Beans are acceptable with fish cakes.

    Last night we went Spanish.

Korat Chef spicy chorizo sausages, garlic mash, Mediterranean style peas with Pesto sauce.

Interesting option to add to snags. I prefer mustard and head horse. But they certainly look decent.

One man's 'repetetive slop' is another man's unusual and intriguing, yet hastily put together meal.

I'll take Willy's 'decent', he knows his Spanish snags.

But what in God's name is 'head horse'?

    Hand in your passport, BLD.

In Australian rhyming slang, "dead horse" means tomato sauce.

Mike is a Brit who can actually cook a steak! A rarity outside of Gordon Ramsay! Green dispatched.

It's called marbling. Certainly not as marbled as a wagyu steak but he cooked it well and I bet it was tasty as fok. With or without a side of peas.

I don't think I ever bought a decent steak in macro it was mostly just barely good enough to stew . There was an outfit in udon called Thai French that bred the bovines in sakhon nakhon and there steaks were damn tasty. Could combine a freezer top up with a visit to udon for a night or 2 and swirl some frostys , catch up with the mates, Tamper with the dollies, get a new tattoo etc
