Not had a burger for a while, so defrosted some Aussie minced beef in the freezer. Mixed in some ground crackers, chopped red onion, a raw egg and some dry herbs to make the patty.

Toasted the insides of the bun whilst the burger was resting.

Mixed some garlic mayo and sweet chilli sauce together, and spread top and bottom on the bun. Patty sitting on some sliced Chinese cabbage, topped with melted mozzarella and sliced red onion.

There will be another one of these coming soon methinks.

Mc pags. I rarely eat burger king and McDonald's because it just not enjoyable and it's become expensive here the kids like it but there's no change out of $50. So I don't treat them to it much . What you just posted would be a crowd pleaser for sure. Thanks for the info

Crackers or eggs as a binder for a burger? You're making meatloaf, not a burger, sir.

Our Jockanese friends avoid such debates by not eating vegetables in the first place.

Scurvy isn't an illness north of the border- its a rite of passage.

^ that is a very fine looking burger; close to perfection.

These scotch eggs were briefly deep fried to "seal them off" (whatever that means) then finished in the air fryer.

^^ and ^^^ good looking scotch eggs and sublime burger.

Today, my perennial favourite, Asian style pulled pork with bao buns and Sriracha sauce.

There's a great idea for something different for the shark biscuits. They enjoy " Mexican night" which is basically mince with a packet of el paso taco seasoning , onions, beans and I hide a few veg in there. Put a tortilla wrap in the fry pan load it up with the meat, add cheese fold in half, slice in half. They love em

Pretty sure I can get bao buns pre made so will definitely rustle up the pulled pork in the slowcooker, both of them have a pretty high tolerance to chilli, more than me in fact. But they mostly grew up in asia

That looks great too. I love a massaman... Stir fry looks perfect (although a sneaky little prawn seems to have joined the party).

She always sneaks in prawns. I am not a big fan of them but she loves them. She even told me..."Honey, I only put 1 Prawn"
