Tough audience. It looked good enough for me.

Stumpy, that pad krapow looks great!
Baked some chicken drumsticks today, first rubbing onto them a paste of paprika, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander and chilli powder and olive oil.
Had some with the homemade sweet chilli sauce.

I believe we Yanks call the leg the drum stick. A much larger piece than the wing, which I for one call a wing
We call em drumsticks to in Oz
Lower part of the leg I call the drumstick, upper part the thigh. Drumstick and thigh in one piece, the leg.....
No, not seen Armstrong, though I believe he planned to come to Phuket at some time. Thinking of stripping the meat off the remainder drumsticks and having it on bread rolls for supper.
^ I think that a well cooked chicken drumstick takes some beating.
Yours look pretty good as well, mate!
Only kidding... I could murder that right now!
As it's vegetarian festival season, stalls seem to pop up everywhere to the point that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere serving meat. M'Sahib just in, and there's a stall just outside our village. These are sausages made from taro, and have an almost ground nut like consistency and taste. A spicy sauce makes them quite edible though.

Thighs are my go to bit of the bird, chicken noms are a bit boring but the drumsticks and wings cooked slowly in the oven put a grin on the shark biscuits dial. Sometimes I go all Hollywood and have chicken marylands
He gets plenty of peas
Clearly he does but he seems like a sickly fella. Back, colds, rashes...etc. That amazing odd English skill of eating peas with the fork tines down while balancing them is funny as hell. Maybe it helps his motor skills and they use it in mental institutions to mess with the patients. oddest thing I ever heard. Why make a fork with angled tines then? Them UK lot are an odd bunch. Its like the Chinese, you know they have seen the spoon.![]()
