    Actually, I don't.
It's just called advertising, and it is way less dangerous of hidden agendas.
I mean, if the sponsor is in the open anyone can make up his mind and question himself about the truth and reliability of the message.
Glenn Beck said (and keeps saying) that because of quantitative easing and fiscal deficit there's the possibility of high inflation rates in the future. He advices to buy gold as coverage. Those who followed this advice in the past mostly profited from it.
I really don't see where's the interest conflict you keep screaming about.

Here are the libbies at it again. *sob* he shouldn't have such high ratings, so let's call all our friends and folks we can make life difficult for. I watch it on the Net. Still sponsors...can't remember them all. Fox still tops the ratings, even double its closest competitor, CNN:

    More diversion, all off-point.

Unsold time means money not coming in. It doesn't matter how many people are watching if it's not bringing in money to the network.

I don't think consumer action is a libbie monopoly at all. It is however a very effective, perfectly legal and non-violent way of sending a message. And in a language the dirty digger understands very well.

You've currently got a prominent US talk show host saying that the (half white) President hates Whites! By the standards of several 'democratic' countries, this could be defined as a Hate crime- but to it's credit, the USA is a vigorous defender of Freedom of speech.

What if, say, Beck had said that the (half black) President hates Blacks. I wonder what the reaction would be then.

They are- Fox is the biggest cash cow in Murdochs empire.
But they've lost a few million bucks of advertising revenue thanks to Glen Becks race baiting. The Bosses have noticed.

What if it's Beck with a tax 'accident'?

No one has been less forgiving than Glenn Beck when it comes to Democrats with tax problems. Not just the well-known ones like Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner but also less serious ones such as Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, whose husband only recently paid off $6,400 in tax liens on his auto repair business, and Nancy Killefer, who withdrew her nomination to be White House chief performance officer, citing a $946.69 tax lien on her Washington home.

Their tax issues are just one indicator of “a culture of corruption among some of the left,” Beck declared just last month in a segment on his hugely popular Fox News television show, in which he branded Geithner, Killefer, Solis and a handful of other Obama nominees “tax cheats,” whom he wouldn’t trust “with my children, let alone my children's future.”

So what to make, then, of the fact that Beck has had his own minor tax problems over the past few years?

his production company, Mercury Radio Arts, has at times struggled to keep up with the heightened tax and filing demands accompanying his success.

Mercury, a private corporation that lists Beck as chief executive officer and his wife, Tania Beck, alternately as vice president or secretary, since 2007 has fallen behind on its New York City business income taxes and has been cited for filing errors related to its obligations under Texas franchise tax and New York state workers' compensation insurance rules.

    What if it's Beck with a tax 'accident'? - Kenneth P. Vogel - POLITICO.com

Pot, kettle, black. Strangely "Beck was not available for comment, and Mercury’s president, Chris Balfe, declined a requested interview".

    Glen Beck Rocks!!!

Ach! Compared to Harry Reid, this is pancake stuff. And I bet several companies (never mind politicians and erm that big guy Geithner) have tax filing probs. Enough red tape in there to strangle a herd of buffalo. Wasn't it the libbie IRS head who recently said taxes are so complicated he has a private tax guy do it for him?

Ahh so when Beck does it it's an understandable mistake owing to the bureaucratic nightmare that is the tax system, but when it's a 'libby' it's a "culture of corruption among some of the left". Pretty much the same rationale applied to Limbaugh's drug use cf. tohis comments on drug users.

From an outsider point of view (non American) I watch Glen Beck as he makes me laugh. He takes a grain of truth and twists it to get his point across even if it might be wrong, I am amazed why more people can not see though the sheer audacity of the man when it comes to the Truth.
I guess people like him and respect him as he ‘sticks to his guns’ and says what he means even if his world view is narrow. He is the type of chap that’s needs to be heard so if he wasn’t a tv presenter I reckon he would be a right wing pastor or suchlike.
When people like him get into power that’s when I head for the hills.

Here's Glenn Beck's rebuttal to healthcare as a right:

Extravagantly expensive "free" healthcare is a bogus right that threatens every real right...

But these news mean just the opposite of what you leftist brigade were saying, that is that Beck speaks for his own interests. If he is suffering loss of revenue for what he is speaking, that means he speaks what he really thinks and does not bow to external economic pressure. It definitely demonstrates the complete opposite of the "conflict of interests" Rayfool was blabbering about.

I find it hard to believe that Beck has ever used the phrase "quantitative easing" and even harder to believe that if he did use it that anybody in his audience would have any fokking clue what he was talking about.
I obcasionally listen to Glenn Beck and I have way more than a "fokking clue" to what "quantitative easing" means.
Btw I don't see any problem in using the words "government printing money" instead of "quantitative easing" just to allow also the less erudited people to understand what's happening.
But I guess you democrats like the people to understand the least possible about what you are doing so keep on speaking your elitist language

I tried to watch his hour long sit down with Sarah Palin. Couldn't do it!

It was set in some totally bizarre set.(Battery Gardens I guess) They looked like characters out of Alice in Wonderland, sitting in over sized white chairs on a raised platform with a low ceiling.
Beck was acting like he was on tranquilizers. Palin with her nasally twang was saying nothing at all. Boring and totally weird.
Couldn't watch it, made me want to renounce my citizenship.
