The LA Times reported:
Glenn Beck used his popular Fox News show this afternoon to attack the background of Van Jones, a White House environmental advisor who co-founded an African American political advocacy group that organized an advertising boycott of his program.
During his 2 p.m. PDT show, Beck did not address the boycott spearheaded by Color of Change to protest the talk show host’s remark last month that he believes President Obama is “a racist.”
Instead, he spent a large share of his program suggesting that Jones, who co-founded Color of Change in 2005, is a radical. Jones now serves as a special advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
During a six-minute biographical profile, set to ominous music, Beck said Jones was twice arrested for political protests and has described himself as a "rowdy black nationalist." The talk show host cast the piece as part of a broader examination of Obama's "czars," special advisers to the president who "don't answer to anybody."
"Why is it that such a committed revolutionary has made it so high into the Obama administration as one of his chief advisers?" Beck asked.
Video: Glenn Beck goes after Obama czar … who founded group that’s boycotting himA short biographical sketch of revolutionary turned “green jobs czar” Van Jones that’s missing one tiny detail from his resume: He co-founded Color of Change, the lefty outfit that’s spearheading the much-publicized boycott of Beck that may or may not actually exist. It’s a little shady that Beck doesn’t disclose that here, although maybe he mentioned it at some other point in the show. Can anyone who watched from start to finish confirm or deny? Either way, consider this a vivid illustration of Karl’s theory that one of the reasons Obama’s gone czar-crazy is to bypass the Senate confirmation process. Imagine the field day the GOP would have with Jones’s past if he had to answer questions

Got that right!
Big Beck: Goes over 3 million viewers, beats O’Reilly in demo: Cable News Ratings for Wednesday, August 26, 2009

Though a little scandal might alienate advertisers, it’s pure ratings gold. Last night Glenn Beck had over 3 million viewers at 5pm, second only to O’Reilly for the night. But, Beck had more 25-54 viewers than O’Reilly (888K to 876K). I don’t watch or really even care about the cable news wars, but still…wow. Even though Beck airs before primetime, when there are fewer people watching TV, he had the most 25-54 viewers in the cable news world for the night

Just goes to show that there's an awful lot of thickos out there.

Hmm, quite an odd thing to be proud about . . . but then the Jerry Springer Show was a hit for ever so many years.
Imagine having that many people one can call 'lowest common denominator'

Has anybody ever done a study on the voting preferences of Jerry Springer's viewers?
/going off to google

^^^ Brilliant Chitown . . . glad you're back!![]()

^ madjerk, your posts are useless and inflammatory. What's your other nik, hatter, Jeff, reach around?
Some smart company will start the move back to Beck ads. Others will follow.
Of note, Beck's competition didn't even come near 1 mil views; Olbermanic at 8pm only got about 1 mil. Face it, sane people refuse to watch ill-mannered left-wing moonbats spouting venom. The lefties can't see what Obama is doing to their country.
^ Off-topic, but madjid is Obsidian and you won't be seeing him here, anymore.
Ray does not troll, by the way, at least not here.

^ Ah! I knew it was an old cranky hand. Thanks, MM.
A crack surveillance team has found footage from Fox News Channel's security cameras of Glenn Beck's office after he discovered that ColorOfChange.org's campaign has resulted in ten more sponsors pulling out of advertising on the Crazy One's show, bringing us to a total of 46 advertisers just saying no.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Can't help but think a few advertisers will be reviewing their annual accounts with Fox too. Well done Color of Change!

Appearing to look that way...

^Van Jones seems to be making a hasty exit out of the White House. Doubt this would have happened without Glenn Becks digging.![]()

^True.
There are other issues to address. But, the GOP has to start focusing on the positive and where they are going. I'm tired of the attack mode. Let FOX do that and get on with the program. The American people know they are in big trouble with Obama and the Dem congress; they need a LEADER to show them the way. There ain't one.
