Well if (IF) that is true, CIPS just got a massive boost and they will be laughing all the way to the bank in China. SWIFT is no longer a monopoly.

The name Belarus is closely related with the term Biełaja Ruś, i.e., White Rus'. There are several claims to the origin of the name White Rus'.[1] An ethno-religious theory suggests that the name used to describe the part of old Ruthenian lands within the Grand Duchy of Lithuania that had been populated mostly by Slavs who had been Christianized early, as opposed to Black Ruthenia, which was predominantly inhabited by pagan Balts.[2]
An alternative explanation for the name comments on the white clothing worn by the local Slavic population.[1][3] A third theory suggests that the old Rus' lands that were not conquered by the Tatars (i.e., Polotsk, Vitebsk and Mogilev) had been referred to as "White Rus'".[1] A fourth theory suggests that the color white was associated with the west, and Belarus was the western part of Rus in the 9th-13th centuries.[4]
History[edit]
The name Rus is often conflated with its Latin forms Russia and Ruthenia, thus Belarus is often referred to as White Russia or White Ruthenia. The name first appeared in German and Latin medieval literature; the chronicles of Jan of Czarnków mention the imprisonment of Lithuanian grand duke Jogaila and his mother at "Albae Russiae, Poloczk dicto" in 1381.[5] In some languages the country is often still referred to by a literal translation of "White Russia", including Dutch and Afrikaans (both Wit-Rusland), and German (Weißrussland).[6][7] However, here too a gradual shift towards Belarus may be observed in some countries, such as the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark

They can win battles. And they are hitting them hard. Obviously through attrition Russia has the advantage, but bodies being sent to Russian mothers matter too.

'Putin is furious' Ex-Army Commander's staggering claims about how weak Russia really is
VLADIMIR Putin is furious with his commanders and oligarchs after they failed to deliver him a quick victory against Ukraine, according to a former Estonian Defence Minister.
Rhio Terras is currently an Estonian MEP, but served as the Commander of Estonian Forces from 2011-18. In a tweet, he revealed that he had received information from a Ukrainian intelligence officer indicating that the Russian leader had expected a swift military victory and was furious it had not been achieved. The Estonian MEP wrote: "Intel from a Ukrainian officer about a meeting in Putin’s lair in Urals.
"Oligarchs convened there so no one would flee.
"Putin is furious, he thought that the whole war would be easy and everything would be done in 1-4 days."
He claimed the Russian army was unprepared and ill-equipped for its campaign in Ukraine and was running out of weapons.
Mr Terras said: "Russians didn’t have a tactical plan. The war costs about $20 bln/day.
"There are rockets for 3-4 days at most, they use them sparingly.
"They lack weapons, the Tula and 2 Rotenberg plants can’t physically fulfil the orders for weapons. Rifles and ammo are the most they can do."
Mr Terras added: "The next Russian weapons can be produced in 3-4 months – if even that.
"They have no raw materials. What was previously supplied mainly from Slovenia, Finland and Germany is now cut off."
The European member of parliament urged Ukrainians to hold on, predicting that Mr Putin would soon be forced to the negotiating table.
He said: "If Ukraine manages to hold the Russians off for 10 days, then the Russians will have to enter negotiations.
"Because they have no money, weapons, or resources."
The former general claimed that the entire Russian plan relied on creating panic, so that civilians and the army surrender, forcing President Zelenskiy to flee.
He wrote: "The Ukrainians must avoid panic!
"The missile strikes are for intimidation, the Russians fire them at random to “accidentally” hit residential buildings to make the attack look larger than it really is.
"Ukraine must stay strong and we must provide assistance!"
Analysts have been impressed at the courage and skill of the Ukrainian military in repelling the Russian onslaught.

^^^ Read his Wiki David- he afterwards became the foreign policy guru at Princeton, etc. And there also also of course the many other prominent people that warned about the same thing. This war could most definitely have been prevented, with the provision of simple and commonsensical security guarantees to Russia.
AS VADM Schonbach, Chief of the German Navy said-
"What he really wants is respect," the vice admiral said, speaking in English in remarks that were posted on a video on YouTube.
"And, my God, giving someone respect is low cost, even no cost. ... It is easy to give him the respect he really demands — and probably also deserves," Schönbach said, calling Russia an old and important country.
Schönbach said Russia's actions in Ukraine needed to be addressed, but added that "the Crimea Peninsula is gone: It will never come back — this is a fact."
He resigned shortly afterwards.

Wow, a half dozen Serb Nazi's waiving flags. Yawn
I really hope that story is true.
We are in day 3 ! It took the US and UK 11 days to take Basra. Let alone Baghdad. Not trying to be combative but this is all pure fantasy.
There was all of this "devastating losses" talk when Russia entered Syria in 2015.
Russia's military budget adjusted for PPP is 166 billion. And they are fighting on their literal front doorstep. To suggest that they are running out of anything is fantasy.
