yes. 87-91. Jack Matlock negotiated an end to the cold war. That all the diplomats after him did their best to try and get going again.

The old Soviet Union was bankrupt and could no longer pay for the war machine, or feed people.

Negotiation was not needed. They lost. They gave up.

As for getting it going again, most of NATO was happy with the peace dividend and reduced costs. UK withdrew 55000 troops from Germany. It seems you have been caught telling fibs and making shit up, AGAIN!

Yep but racism is pretty universal among the less educated and those who have been hoodwinked by state/nation, religion or cults. I cannot understand how an educated person can excuse Putin?

This is likely to stop the further expansion of Nato- that is good. This is likely to put a halt to the militarization of Ukraine (after the Peace deal)- good also. Ukraine will become neutral, or quite probably rift in two between the Russian east and demi-Polish west. US/western hegemonic ambitions have been dealt a severe blow- good. And the casualty count is surprisingly low at this point- the contrast to US style 'shock n awe' could not be more extreme.

How about we just get rid of Europe's 2x dictators.

Now that the war has broken out, its easy to forget just weeks ago, the US guaranteed this war, by refusing to even negotiate on security in the region.

The US said, we are gonna keep flying 1500 tons of weapons in, we are going to keep building our naval base in Odessa, we are going to keep flying nuclear B 52 bombers along Ukraine's border. And we won't negotiate ANY rules of the road with you.

This is after Russia gave up its empire in 1991 for peace.

This is a compilation of four clips that were posted on reddit. Guys are doing some great detective work over there. What you see is a Russian column, enter Kharkov. They are then engaged by the UA (Ukrainian army). Their vehicles are disabled and the troops clearly scattered. Then you see the Ukrainians advance and continue to fight. The column was eventually wiped out. All glory to Ukraine! All glory to the defenders of their homeland! Death to warmongers like skiddy, ohdoh and sabang!

Ukraine is really bringing it to the Ruskies. Russian troops have a very low morale and many have no idea why they are in Ukraine.

This is one of the survivors in the clips I posted above. He is lucky to be alive, as the rest of his unit was wiped out...
